I thought maybe I’d start a new series where, to fill in the gaps between longer articles and SITREPS, we can parse out a few of the top daily/weekly videos with commentary, perhaps discuss the absurdity of them, etc. It would be a way for us to share more content and connect over it more often. But vote in the poll at the bottom if you’d prefer less of this, as I understand things can start feeling spammy or oversaturated at a certain point. There’s simply so much daily content that I wish I could comment on or ends up not fitting into the larger reports (as they’re already overladen).
I don’t guess it matters at this point. Too many very tough soldiers (Ukraine) are dead. Why they haven’t turned is a puzzle. Again it’s a mystery and I’m sure there’s not an easy answer. What were these people thinking they were going to get in return? No doubt most of the money being tossed around went to high levels of command. I’m sure it was dispersed a good way down on the totem pole to keep Ukie soldiers in line.
Very sad we could have used them when shit takes off on the world stage. Such a waste. Seem like great fighters; very tough but not so bright. They are up there with Americans when it comes to succumbing to brainwash tactics.
I think the surgeon is real. Anyway, we have the official medical officer of the Ukrainian army giving an order to castrate all Russian POW's, so this isn't really out of line. Look at his eyes and the rage in them. Look at how his voice picks up when he starts talking about this. Most people are not very good actors. He's not doing this for shits and giggles. He said, "When a soldier comes to me missing a leg, to me he's dead already." That sounds quite authentic and a faker probably would not have made up something like that.

I don't mind videos per se. But if they're mostly going to be Ukrainians bitching and moaning, I'd rather not. Given a choice between "human interest stories" or "war porn" (tanks blowing things up or blowing up themselves, missiles obliterating half of Kiev, or Russian artillery wiping out an entire Ukrainian battalion), I'd rather see the latter.
Yes, I'm bloody-minded. Everyone at MoA already knows that. I'm like Martyanov: for most of this stuff, I'm like "Well, there you go...You asked for it, you got it." As an individualist anarchist and radical Transhumanist, I don't really care how many Ukrainians end up dead. As long as someone doesn't drop a nuke on San Francisco, I'm good. I don't even care about anything east of the Sierra Nevadas. :-)
Alternatively, maybe you could arrange to get permission to put up either the videos themselves (or fair use clips from them) or at least links to them, of the best analysis videos for the week. Most of us probably have already seen them, but perhaps some of your readers haven't. Even we fanatics can't keep up with them all, Duran, Napolitano, Berletic, etc. You could also slip in a couple MSM video clips just to lambast them in order to provide a little humor to this disaster.

Posting videos like this will definitely draw attract new eyes. I guess that’s the idea. But I urge against it. This seriously degrades your brand. Please reconsider. Deciding based on a poll is not a good move for a real thinker, which you are.
This is good. Posterity. Record keeping. This is precisely what Russia has been doing since 2014 and perhaps earlier: documenting all injustices, crimes, etc. Compiling what I can imagine an extensive archive of crimes against humanity.
This might seem a bland response to what is happening, but one day this war will be over, Ukraine will be gone, and Russia will have a compendium of NATO’s complicity in Ukraine’s Nazi atrocities.
This gives them the moral high ground.
This vindicates their survival defence and actions.
A real pity. This young American could be alive now, perhaps sharing a few beers with Russian friends in St. Petersburg or anywhere in Russia. It was not the Russians but his irrational hatred that has cut off his life.

It seems quite easy to teach people to hate. The classic South Pacific number: “You have to be taught” sums it up. You just need to get the young in a society such as Ukraine, then you fill their heads with nationalist, anti Russian propaganda and accompany it with a one sided version of history. Then make sure they speak a distinct language that is positioned as different from Russian, rather than being part of a dialectical continuum. Then within the space of a generation or so you have conjured up true hatred.
