I suspect that the likelihood of US infantry crossing into Ukraine en masse is very low, ditto with aircraft. Getting swatted out of the sky is embarrassing. If the 101st decided to trot across the border from Romania I'd bet the RuAF would go the extra mile to make sure they were shit upon from great heights with extreme accuracy just to prove a point.
