Looool, wut, you dont wanna reminisce and lament over the "holy 90s"? Totally unhandshakesble, bruh. Next thing you gon say that Navalny isn't the hero we deserve /s

Nah I don't wanna imagine it either. For me the Yeltsin era was like a vaccine against US-borne "democracy". Once you see it, once you live through it, you don't want that shit to repeat.

Well, on the other hand drunk driving cost was 50$ to a cop and then you could drive away :)

I dunno, don't drive drunk)

But really, not a single thing gives me good vibes from that time, and I was a kid then! People usually tend to look with fuzzy nostalgia feelings back to their childhood, but that shit was so awful, not even being a lkid embezzles it.

Well, my mother's coworkers were often visiting Volgograd region (business trips). And upon their return there was always 3-liter can of caviar in my fridge at almost no cost. :)

Noice! But I can judge only as a Muscovite. Moscow during Yeltsin, people throwing coins into the Eternal fire, hobos, ╨╗╨░╤А╤М╨║╨╕, gangs, dark dilapidating subway, ugh.

Well, i really don't remember our subway as "dark" :) And you could always "borrow" some smokes from the nearest stall's saleswoman if you was familiar enough

Hello from Volgograd.

1. yeltsenites remained in power in many spheres (hi to Rosnano and Chubais)

2. no more caviar in such high volume (thx to previous generations who caught all the fish from the seas)

3. Moscow during Yeltsin - Moscow != Russia, especially over 90th

4. lament over the "holy 90s" - u were just a kid, so better dont talk about it in such a manner
