After DJT laid out his vision for Gaza, Morgan Ortagus, Secretary Rubio’s Special Envoy to the Mideast, described to Brietbart a plan for “the Riviera of the Middle East” which will borrow from Russia’s SMO: the demilitarization of Gaza & the deradicalization of Gazans. Ortagus claimed that Saudi Arabia has a cutting-edge program for deradicalizing those in need of deradicalization—and she sees that Gazans in general need some seriously intense deradicalization before they can ever return to their land, Gaza, which will be, by the time they’re deradicalized, “the Riviera of the Middle East,” a Biblical-grade Las Vegas strung like a necklace along the 40km shoreline. Once the deradicalized Gazans return, they can change the bedsheets each day in the luxury hotels.
Predictably, the Comment Section @ Breitbart was lively, especially w/ deradicalization how-to’s: “Electrodes, wires, car battery,” an engineering genius offered. “Cordless drill & rare-earth batteries,” a high IQ individual said. A real estate investor urged the Saudis to install a big beautiful Deradicalization Club Med Resort right on the waterfront as a signature feature of “the Riviera of the Middle East.”
If the Saudi’s system of deradicalization is successful, Russia may look to it as a way of outsourcing the denazification of Ukraine nationalists there.
More seriously, however, Rashida Tlaib posted on Telegram: “The president is openly calling for ethnic cleansing while sitting next to a genocidal war criminal.”
And in the WaPo, a Gaza-based political expert—Mustafa Ibrahim—stated that “Our Palestinian people and the people of Gaza in particular are rooted here and will no go anywhere. If Trump wants to pave something, he can go pave the sea.” Mustafa Ibrahim is not feeling the Riviera, in other words.
Mr. President Trump, as Humanity witnesses Gaza’s cataclysmic human toll, we implore you to reflect on 77 years of Palestinian dispossession, massacres, and systemic erasure.
Your rhetoric of ‘cleaning out’ Gaza echoes Historical Traumas of Expulsion and Genocide.
Might Moral imagination transcend real estate ambitions?

This "gift" can only reasonably seen as a threat by the terrorist Netanyahu regime, I would suppose the bomb quad will take it out the back and safely dissable it with a small explosive charge.
It's appalling - I never saw much outrage. Two children were murdered and 3000 people maimed for life, very many having both eyes blown to shit, by that smarmy, gurning Jewish supremacist.
Miriam Adelson donated $100mm to Trump's campaign. She is also a Netanyahu supporter (controller). As long as they both do as they are told there are no issues from Team Zio.
The global chessboard is being rearranged and these events are just the start. Blogging, petitions, protesters, etc., changes nothing. May you live in interesting times.
Somehow we have to break out of the war war war impasse and move the world on. This is one radical attempt. I have no sentimental attachment to the status quo, whichever side of the eternal triangles of hostilities it happens to favour for a while. What on earth does the right of the Palestinians to stay on 'their land' even mean, when you look at the bombed out wreck Israel (enabled by the US) has created?
But there is no forward movement in trading blame. I am content to give this idea a chance. Persuading the surrounding Arab countries to do the same is however a very different order of ask, although they are all emminently bribable to their sad historical cost.
The reality may well be that US troops who will have to go in to protect the civilian rebuilding personnel from endless terrorist assault, get stuck in a truly horrendous valley of death.
Don't pre-judge. There hasn't been any ethnic cleansing as a result of this proposal, if such a thing is even possible now, given the totality of the destruction already. Do you want Palestinians to languish in a rubble to suit remote armchair ideologists, let alone war-mongerers?
Saying that X will happen as a result of Y, making Y heinous from the get-go, was precisely the propaganda device used by the west to condemn Putin's SMO from Day One. It was to be seen, not in its actual immediate terms but as a punt at taking over all europe and so had to be stopped at the Pass. You don't want to indulge in that sort of propaganda, do you, even if it suits your emotive preferences here? Or maybe you do. In which case you disappoint me, G.
Some people on this board need to calm down and read my post again, just as they need to place an ice pack on their fevered brows (and that includes Simplicius), and consider the issue in all its dimensions, not just a knee jerk perspective backed up then by slogans.
I agree with you. The Gordian knot needs to be cut. It sucks for the Palestinains. It's heart-wrenching - but what does that have to do with realpolitik? There are no nice guys in this game. There is no honour, just self-interest.
Indeed, and somehow the complex of self interests needs to be shaped into some conception of the greater good that does not just feed the existing problem. People use emotive language as cover for their own self interests. The masks have to pulled off, and that applies to all the various factions. The most egregious example of virtue signalling driving US self interest came from Biden. Trump has embraced a new honesty and made a virtue of self interest- MAGA- and that at least turns the cards face up which destroys the existing game. Time for grown up discussions.
But it is assault. It is bloody death to US troops, and that is what will matter in the end, not the rights and wrongs here which have never cut any real political ice.
There is only one thing that prevents the establishment of a Palestinian state with full rights and that is the US veto at the UN. Hows about we give that solution a chance? Almost the whole world backs this solution. (and before ppl say ...'well we cant remove all the Israelis from the Palestinian lands' this proposal envisages removing 1.7mil Palestinians so 'someone' thinks thats possible no?)
“...it’s an unprecedented Israeli coup de grace, right?”
With Satan conduct’ing a global coup, Trumpet’s sound helping to keep the world in line, it's a whole new reality and grand openning of the end of history on ground level, that's all.
As usual, it's a love-hate relationship with Trump. I love what he's doing inside America - cleaning out the woke leftists and deep state. On the other hand, I hate what he's doing internationally. Kushner should never be allowed to even speak to Trump. Goddamn zionist traitor is what he is. I have to wonder if Trump is losing his mind. I really do.
Increasing inflation with tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China because "Fentanyl"?
Closing the Department of Education because Americans are already so educated?
Repealing "Obama care" because it's got Obama in the name. A name you gave it?
Passing laws against the 10 student athletes, out of 510,000 registered with the NCAA who are trans?
Putting illegal migrants, like his wife was, into Guantanamo Bay?Which again will increase inflation.
Gutting American government infrastructure, which is hardly robust to begin with. All those things that just used to work, like air traffic control, are going to be too underfunded to work in the future.
But since you voted for it, I sincerely hope you get everything you voted for.
Polish proverb. You put a clown in the palace, you don't get a king, you get a circus.
As I said Dilligaf, I hope you get everything you voted for.
Just because Biden was awful doesn't make choosing Trump a smart move.
I remember what an absolute fuster-cluck he made of the response to Covid.
As far as I can see Trump 's motivation is to reduce spending, not to increase efficiency, so that's inevitably going to lead to real hardship for millions of Americans.
But, going Polish again, not my circus, not my monkeys.
The inflation has already been set in motion by the previous totalitarian globalist's puppet regime cheered on by woke socialist half wits. Regardless of who sits on the throne of hypocrisy, we live in a reality where real people pay for the luxury of the parasite cast.
Changing that will not be done by changing the puppt on the throne.
And as many people in power in EU, Radoslaw Sikorsky has been on CIA payroll for many, many years. Read about his "career", surely an interesting read.
As usual, it's a love-hate relationship with Trump. I love what he's doing inside America - cleaning out the woke leftists and deep state. On the other hand, I hate what he's doing internationally. Shut down a bunch of Government departments, highlighting human oversight which is vulnerable to corruption, so you can smoothly move them over to A.I oversight instead.
And ditch the crazy social engineering programs that coloured the Left as radical lunatics, and steered the masses toward a Trump vote. The programs that have ably served their purpose can now be retired as planned, in a burst of bone-toss confetti to the masses - while behind the cheering and pom-pom waving of the crowd, the plan for One World Governance relentlessly marches on.
He told you.
"Oh shut up, silly woman,” said the reptile with a grin. You knew damn well I was a snake before you took me in".
When DJT, wearing the Israel blue necktie, stood beside Bibi, wearing the MAGA red necktie, he created chaos & rhetorical anarchy while airing his plans for Gaza. DJT was in The Weave. The Weave is where DJT riffs on far-fetched, hard to realize implausibilities and then synthesizes them w/ a few golden nuggets of big beautiful reality in order to stir the imagination w/ Shock & Awe.
Standing next to Bibi, DJT made peoples’ jaws drop.
It was intensely an escalatory ‘take’ on what DJT had just done on the phone w/ the prime minister of Denmark, when he pressed her on Greenland. It was intensely an escalatory ‘take’ on what DJT had just done w/ Canada, Mexico, Columbia and Panama. It was harsher than DJT’s Shock & Awe dealings, ahem, w/ Denmark, Canada, Mexico, Columbia & Panama because the Gaza-Israel conflict presents harsher, more dire options than tariff tiffs, for instance, do.
In some ways DJT threw down a gauntlet to the Arab Street and other stakeholders in West Asia: come up with a better solution for the Palestinians’ plight than what we’ve seen before. Perpetuating a concentration camp full of *refugees* in Gaza or in the West Bank, for many generations, is unsustainable. We need a new plan, DJT seems to be saying, something fresh. What has gone on, hasn’t worked—and isn’t going to work. DJT is looking for The Audacious.
His plan for the “Riviera of the Middle East” is an opening bid in a negotiation for ideas that run counter to the status quo. An opening bid is not a destination—it’s the first step of a journey.
What’s interesting is the ‘hair on fire’ response DJT’s audacity elicits. He airs ideas. People freak out. His ideas are not actions—but they do have the power to bend subsequent events, the nature of which at this moment are unknown.
Once DJT called Kim Jong Un “Little Rocket Man” and threatened to blast his ass off the Korean Peninsula—and then Kim Jong Un called DJT a “dotard.” Soon enough the two guys were walking around the Demilitarized Zone together, chatting. DJT even counseled KJU on how to stand in profile, cutting a nice silhouette, so as to look slimmer.
Ideas are not actions.
Meanwhile, DJT has both checkmated Bibi and 'saved' him, allowing him to achieve a ‘win’ in the eyes of his hardcore domestic Zionists & nullified IDF efforts to break the ceasefire. Bibi can’t drop Bunker Buster bombs on a site that’s already platted out to be the “Riviera of the Middle East.”
And oh by the way, King Abdullah of Jordan is paying DJT a visit in the White House next week. President el-Sisi of Egypt is stopping by the week after that.
They have come up with a plan its called a Palestinian state with full rights. All of the Arab states agree to this and at the Security Council meeting last year calling for this US used their veto to say no. I still remember their words: 'now is not the right time'. There is a plan, it can be enforced and established via Security Council Resolution. That is the solution.
As I mentioned in another comment, he is also wreaking havoc on the mainstream media.
For his first term they shaped the narrative around him and he was basically forced into a defensive crouch.
Now he goes out and just says things that get people riled up, and before the mainstream media and its donors have found alignment on the issue, he's already thrown out another banger that they feel they need to respond to.
It's almost daily at this point, and basically all the left can do is REEEE as hard as possible, but their thought leaders aren't telling them what to think, so there is no unified reaction or narrative, and at the same time their donor mechanisms are being attacked.
And even worse than that, nobody gives a damn what they have to say, because love or hate Trump, he's creating an attention grabbing spectacle, and the sheer audacity of it is hard to look away from and it drowns out the lamentations.
What amuses me is everyone takes him at his word when in some cases he's obviously trolling. I'm not a body language analyst, but I'd be very surprised if Bibi expected what came out of Trump's mouth during that press conference, he was having to mask his reaction.
From his POV he's also becoming inscrutable to his enemies. They have no idea what he will do next, and that is a powerful weapon in itself. I don't think it is 5D chess, I think he's just being his true self.
There is no such thing as good government. Trump contributed to 20 million dead and counting through Warpseed 1. Stay tuned for Warpspeed 2 led by Gates. Trump is an actor like he was in World Wrestling, the "You're Fired" show, fake assassination attempts, and 5 bankrupcies at the expense of subcontractors to his gain but saved by the mob. (Deep Mob)
All the Trumptards are getting fleeced while Trump sets them up for the "Big Kill". The game is rigged, folks. There is no such thing as democracy no matter where you live or they would never allow a vote. Relax, be happy, and get a front-row seat to the world's greatest shitshow. It's better to watch The Matrix from the outside without getting drawn into the nefarious spectacle. The view is so much better at the top outside the Matrix.
US power lies in the strength of the dollar, without which they would be just another power and as geography dictates a very isolated power. The Eurodollar system hinges strongly on the finances of the gulf monarchs. So it is not a very good idea to tempt their displeasure. For Muslims paramount to everything is "Islam". Though the information space may paint them as corruptible, weak and pliable there is a great misunderstanding especially today. The reason why the middle east is branded as having endless wars is because the colonial powers were unable to pasify and colonise the region fully. Even today Palestinian resistance is an unwillingness to accept the faith of many other indegenous people that had to bow to European colonialism. Trump must be very careful as his eager aggressive hunt for dollars may create the situation where the US does not need to trade for dollars as the whole world will gladly give all their dollars back to the rightful owners.
Well maybe, but it's easy to label from the outside, rather than to see the reality from the inside where things are not how the media wants them to be perceived.
The king monarchs are a bunch of SOBs. They secretly prefer the palestinians are disappeared because they fear the palestinian example could lead their populations to revolt against their corrupt monarchies.
Do you think the Saudi monarchy wants to de-throne the dollar? Why would they wish to have all their assets denominated in dollars to turn into dust?
They all have a nice talk, but man, they don't do the walk.
I went back up to look at the images to see what you might mean by that. I noticed that President Trump looked noticably taller in the image of them outside. But at the dias - they look the same height. So stand in for President Trump or they have a little step for PM Netanyahu to stand on?

LOL!!!! you need to start your own substack with regular articles. I'd pay.
I agree!
Amen
Quiet you two! We get Cheeto for free here as a bonus!! Kidding, but I agree: El Cheetz got it going on!
Does the Saudi program actually deradicalize people, or simple reduce them to the radicalization level of the Wahabbis?
It reduces them by about 10 inches.
@ScuzzaMan
"Just take a little off the top"?

"cutting edge" huh?

He's a civnat boomertist with a chronic case of "Dare r greatestest ally!"-ism.
This isn't the leader you're looking for.
who's "you" here?
The World, per Fernando's last line.
And who will evict the Palestinians from Gaza? The US? I would love to see those S-300s slapping F-35s out of the sky.
Each Palestinian will be issued a Trump tower by our most generous El Presidente.
I suggest we name this new ME Riviera "Trumptopia"
He ain't gonna do shit in Gaza, except fleece a bunch of MAGAtards.
Just like with The Wall last time 'round.
If I were Trump my first thought when I was handed the pager from Bibi as gift would be "I'm not touching that fucking thing, thank you very much"
Totally - its like Navalny's ginch or Skripal's doorknob!
Many times greater vicious death than those. Ffs
Yep. A real eff you from Satanyahoo. Trump seems too dumb or cowardly to grock.
nah. he's just the butler
I reckon..
If the Secret Service are doing their job properly, it would have been X-rayed, ultra-sound AND fully disassembled/re-assembled *before* it got anywhere *near* DJT...
Ballsy move to accept it....
well-rehearsed little scene in the tragedy that's unfolding.
Miriam's money from the skim in Vegas.
Miriam/Trump Kushland.
Like a weasel, Trump has used his power to piss all over the remaining shreds of U.S. decency.

5:1 it never gets started. The place will explode in an epic cluster fuck before the first Halliburton bulldozer can begin leveling.
Accepted!
You're " content to give this idea a chance". So that's alright then. Ethnic cleansing and genocide is all good with Julliane.
As a fan of your posts here and at Larry's, I'm disappointed to read this.
Don't pre-judge. There hasn't been any ethnic cleansing as a result of this proposal, if such a thing is even possible now, given the totality of the destruction already. Do you want Palestinians to languish in a rubble to suit remote armchair ideologists, let alone war-mongerers?

You missed it dude. It’s their land; they get to decide what to do with it.
It's not their land; they have almost no control over it.
That's not a moral argument about who SHOULD own it, it's a simple observation of reality.
I am fully in favour of a Palestinian state but chanting "it's their land!" isn't going to make it happen.
Agreed. I like Jullianne's posts as well, but apologizing for ethnic cleansing...?
?. Where have I done that.
Some people on this board need to calm down and read my post again, just as they need to place an ice pack on their fevered brows (and that includes Simplicius), and consider the issue in all its dimensions, not just a knee jerk perspective backed up then by slogans.

How is the US self-interest served in any way by getting involved more deeply in the fantasy of Greater Israel?
and many dead children.
"US troops who will have to go in to protect the civilian rebuilding personnel from endless terrorist assault"
It's not terrorism when you're defending your home from illegal occupation.
But it is assault. It is bloody death to US troops, and that is what will matter in the end, not the rights and wrongs here which have never cut any real political ice.
It will come to nothing. It's a childish and moronic idea on the face of it, and would do jack squat to "break out of the war war war impasse".
Anyway you slice it, this would be just another US invasion of a sovereign nation, so thankfully it won't happen.
One hopes so.
I tend to the idea this is standared Trumpian opening bid: bold, lunatic, and lacking any intention to do anything like it.
I hope so, but I've been wrong before.
There is only one thing that prevents the establishment of a Palestinian state with full rights and that is the US veto at the UN. Hows about we give that solution a chance? I’m going to have to be in a resilient mood to read this so I think I’m just gonna put it off for a while
The U.S. now stretches from Canada to Greenland to Gaza in his bold & half-expected move :-)
A truly astonishing moment.
The rule based world order in its grandeur.
Meet Trumpomania.
the no-rules based, up for grabs world order. settler colonialism on steroids :-((
The gap between Trump's grand pronouncements and the reality on the ground grows wider every day.

Polish proverb. You put a clown in the palace, you don't get a king, you get a circus.
What does "gutting American government infrastructure" even mean?
This federal government is a bloated, wasteful, parasitic mess that needs to be destroyed and rebuilt.
The Department of Education is national-level consortium of Karens. Actual education is not within its remit.
Also, maybe take an Econ 101 class before babbling nonsense about tariffs and inflation.
"Obamacare" is trash written by the insurance industry for their own benefit.
Illegal immigrants are invaders and must be removed.
If troons are such a small minority, then it's no problem if they're excluded anyhow, right?
As I said Dilligaf, I hope you get everything you voted for.

And by the way; Gaza once was the Riviera of the Middle East as was Beirut.
Beirut was the Paris of the Middle East.
And, given the increasingly middle eastern aspect of Paris, it still is.
Intelligent note!
Trump can be playing Netanyahu being played himself by Adelson and the Lobby in US.
But no one has asked how you move 2 million people that will just sit down and refuse.
Didn't see it at first - but OK
he looked like the butler. come to think of it, acted like one too.
If you are truly free, why do you always always need to be told you are democratic?
I see what you are saying here. Exactly.
Why so cynical? When they say "Our Democracy" and "Folks" I feel better inside.
“Folks” is the tell. Whoever says that is a lying manipulative elitist scumbag. No actual human being with working class values ever says that.
Saudi King Abdullah was reported to have said four things only mattered to him: "Allah, Mohammed, the camel, and the desert."
Yeah. nice words.
In reality, he was educated in Europe and lives a life of luxury enjoying almost absolute power.
Do you think he really lives a life of islamic piety? with all his yachts, his mansions in Europe?
@Michael Srite
Could you give your source for that quote?
Also, there has been more than one King Abdullah, you might want to specify...
I think you're giving a corrupt and venal set of despots too much credit for principles.
I think their religiosity is as performative as Trump's.
Well maybe, but it's easy to label from the outside, rather than to see the reality from the inside where things are not how the media wants them to be perceived.
Fair point Seeker. Can you make a case for the bona fides of the sheikhs then mate?
The king monarchs are a bunch of SOBs. They secretly prefer the palestinians are disappeared because they fear the palestinian example could lead their populations to revolt against their corrupt monarchies.
Do you think the Saudi monarchy wants to de-throne the dollar? Why would they wish to have all their assets denominated in dollars to turn into dust?
They all have a nice talk, but man, they don't do the walk.
That’s a replica/stand in Trump. Not the real 6’3” dude
I went back up to look at the images to see what you might mean by that. I noticed that President Trump looked noticably taller in the image of them outside. But at the dias - they look the same height. So stand in for President Trump or they have a little step for PM Netanyahu to stand on?
Trump is too vain to let anybody to stand in for him:-)
Satanyahoo brought a Palestinian woman and child to stand on.
LOL :,-((
