The Economist published two important pieces centered on Russian “oligarch” Andrey Melnichenko, who is labeled one of Russia’s most ‘enigmatic’ wealth titans despite at times occupying first place amongst Russia’s richest men as, what Economist calls, the world’s “fertilizer king” and Russia’s “biggest industrialist”.
GM thought he had absolute seigneurial rights over her, but Putin then invited her to his dacha in Crimea, at which point she switched allegiance, and GM has never forgiven him.
You mean like when Trumpstein got all jealous when Melania was all google-eyed and pressed up to double kiss Justin Trudeau, so then Don decided he wanted to invade Canada.
"We are giving him space not because we agree with all his views or he is a champion of democracy and human rights"
They just can't stop wanking themselves into unconsciousness over their devotion to "democracy" and "human rights" whilst advocating for globalization that no non-"elites" want, free trade that bankrupts nations, and regime change that installs tyrants.
Yep. While democracy does not exist at all, we have oligarchies and they trample freely on human rights and in fact anything human at all: their whole mind set that of a mindless profit making machine.
"In March 2026, she finalized a deal to sell her 26.9% stake (along with her family and foundation) to Canadian billionaire Stephen Smith and his family holding company, Smith Financial Group. This transaction marked the first major ownership shake-up at the 182-year-old magazine in a decade, ending the Rothschild family's direct control over their investment in the publication."
As with the sale of Reuters to the Thomson family in 2008, the Rothschilds ensured the publication remains under like minded billionaire control.
As you imply, it's what lies behind the curtain that's important.
Rothschilds clearly don't need money, so if they sell something, it simply means that they gain plausible deniability, whilst continuing to hold the reins of their influence peddlers.
David Rockefeller, some decades ago, thanked various US news organizations for keeping the jewish agenda hidden; had they not done so, he said, their task would have been far more difficult in advancing that agenda.
Secrecy and deniability is an integral part of the war they wage on the goyim.
"There is always a ruling minority, but such minorities never stop at the brute fact of holding power. They justify their rule by theories or principles which are in turn based on beliefs or ethical systems which are accepted by those who are ruled. These "political formulas" contain very little that could be described as "truth," but they should not be regarded as deliberate deceptions or mystifications on the part of scheming rulers. They express, rather, a deep need in human nature whereby the human being more readily defers to abstract universal principles than to the will of individual human beings."
That principle was spelled out at Genesis 3, 15, together with the two competing beliefs or ethical systems you allude to.
From the time of the beginning, and the events that played out in the Garden of Eden, and through Cain's murder of Righteous Abel, mankind has been afflicted with an existential struggle between the two principles you refer to - of good and evil.
No clear winner in this fight will ever be apparent until the end, when evil will be utterly destroyed.
Good and evil? I see the story of Cain and Abel as an allegory of the prehistoric clash between sedentary agriculturalists (farmers) and nomadic pastoralists (shepherds). Cain was a farmer, like the Romans who wiped out countless clans of shepherds wherever they went.
Which all breaks down when you consider that one mode of living by no means excludes the other - especially not on a moral basis.
And Rome sought food for its toiling masses, and so would take it in whichever form it was found, rather than destroy its source.
The difference between these individuals lay not in the means whereby they earned their living, but in their parentage; and scripture makes it abundantly clear who each of their fathers was - although they shared the one mother.
ALL the Western presidents, politicians, scientists, billionaires, oligarchs, entertainers have been Epsteined into evil cannibals for Satan. Their end is clear.
It requires discipline and focus as in a machine. It requires computational focus on a simple mathematic: does this return a profit. That is as mindless as AI.
So I believe you fail to understand there.
Then you talk about raging against the machine. A non sequitur.
Then you claim the above two amount to proof of why 'they' win. I can't know who/what you mean but on the assumption you mean the profit takers I'd point out;
1. Your postulates do prove they win.
2. I would maintain they do not 'win' so much as be allowed to bully, sneak, lie, manipulate, coerce etc. their way about the world for a multitude of reasons but inevitably in the end, in fact, lose.
3. There is nothing simple about the whole of it all.
"They" are the nefarious collection of vile, venal, self-appointed "elites" running the decrepit and thoroughly undemocratic institutions in the West for their own enrichment and to live out their petty power fantasies.
Ursula von der Leyen, Mark Rutte, Christine Lagarde, Larry Fink, Jamie Dimon, David Solomon, Brian Moynihan, Peter Thiel, Alex Karp, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Rupert Murdoch, that clown at Meta, Tony Blair, Peter Mandelson, José Manuel Barroso et al.
That's not my list - I gave Sneems description to a well known ai whose name rhymes with Cat TPG and that's what it came up with. Seems a reasonable starting point.
"[...] wanking themselves into unconsciousness [...]"
LMAO.
Agree with your thesis. The west is built on predation and there is no room for those that want peaceful coexistence. This is similar to how a CEO of a public company that was happy to run a profitable business with zero growth would be forced out by shareholders and the board.
Fancy the Economist being remotely concerned with ‘democracy and human rights.’ It’s so laughable. As fascism becomes the norm in the western world, every major publication is revealing itself as populated by complete idiots . It’s one thing to deliberately lie on behalf of their intelligence agencies but there’s a level of self-delusion that is truly remarkable in propaganda outlets like the economists . Their ‘liberalism’ has only ever been a placeholder for fascist obsequiousness but most of them don’t even realise it. The western ‘intellectually trained’ class is the least self-aware, most glaringly hypocritical cohort of vain, smug, ignorant , opinionated fools in history.
So, let's summarize the results of the NATO summit held in Ankara on July 7-8, 2026.
Russian pundits are now raving about how "NATO is bursting at the seams," how Ukraine has once again been rejected from the bloc, how Zelensky the clown has once again been humiliated and is in a complete panic, and how serious disagreements remain within NATO, which presents Moscow with a window of opportunity. However, this rosy picture of ignoring reality and boasting is belied by the geopolitical realities we analyzed in the article " NATO SUMMIT. PUSH TO THE EAST .
" Above all, the summit confirmed the US strategy of unleashing a war between Europe and Russia, under US control but without direct US involvement. To achieve this, Trump needed to demonstrably distance himself from NATO while maintaining American protectorate over his key vassals – Ukraine and Turkey. This is precisely what the American Fuhrer did immediately upon arriving in Ankara.
Trump began by ranting that he might have refused to participate in the summit if the event hadn't been held in Turkey and if it weren't for his respect for President Erdogan. Afterwards, Trump made a show of bashing Spain and criticized the other NATO members for not supporting US aggression against Iran and for not intending to hand over Greenland to the United States. Here, we clearly see a clash of interests between the American Predator and its sworn friend, the British Alien, who doesn't want to strengthen American influence in the Persian Gulf but wants to force the United States to personally lead NATO's campaign against Russia. This is precisely why NATO stubbornly refuses to be a US instrument for solving global problems in American interests.
The main issues of the summit were defense investments, NATO's military industry, and support for Ukraine. All of these have been successfully resolved. NATO's budget continues to grow, bringing enormous profits to the American military-industrial complex and fueling the growth of the European military industry. NATO Secretary General Rutte stated with satisfaction that by 2027, the Alliance would be able to produce almost twice as many artillery shells as the previous year – approximately 4 million. In 2014, NATO could only dream of such a feat. Now, it is a reality.
The summit's final communiqué fully reaffirmed NATO's unity in the war with Russia.
The first step was to reaffirm the principle of collective defense under Article 5 of the Washington Treaty. In our country, this is dismissed as a mere formality. In reality, this is a warning to Moscow not to attack Estonia and Finland, through whose territory Ukrainian drones are flying to strike St. Petersburg and northern Russia. These strikes will escalate due to the fact that "Ukrainian" drones will now assemble and strike Russia directly from Finnish and Estonian territory. And the Kremlin will be unable to do anything about it; it will tolerate it. Just as it has tolerated NATO strikes on Russia for five years now, which are no different from the NATO strikes on Yugoslavia in 1999. It tolerates them because it fears war with NATO.
Therefore, the warning about Article 5 voiced at the Ankara summit should discourage the Kremlin elders from even thinking about or even wanting to counter NATO strikes on Russia from Finnish and Estonian territory. NATO Secretary General Rutte specifically emphasized that the Alliance would defend every inch of its territory, while simultaneously feeding the lie that NATO adheres to a defensive policy and would never attack anyone. This is a blatant lie – NATO has been directly involved in a war with Russia since 2014. But this lie is necessary to preemptively make NATO's aggression against Russia seem forced, retaliatory.
The second point of the communiqué declares Russia a long-term threat. Thus, NATO, with US permission, trampled both the "spirit of Anchorage" and Trump's National Security Strategy for 2026, which excluded Russia from the list of immediate threats to the United States. It all turned out to be a lie and a deception, which the Russian "elite" once again believed. They were duped and deceived.
The third point – building a stronger Europe within NATO – is also very serious for Russia.
As part of the strategy for a major war between NATO and Russia, US troops are leaving Europe. Here, this is being portrayed as a "serious split" within NATO, and we applaud, vying with each other to replicate Trump's statements about disappointment with the US, which pays exorbitant sums to ensure the security of NATO allies. In reality, there's nothing to celebrate.
The US withdrawal is a crystal-clear signal of Washington's intention to transform the entire continent from Lisbon to Vladivostok into a strategic battlefield for NATO and Russia, where brave American soldiers have no need to lay down their lives or burn in nuclear fire. Let the European, Ukrainian, and Russian gladiators fight on the European stage, and we'll watch from the stands. And when this carnage is over, the US will calmly seize all the resources of both the victor and the vanquished. In any case, in the American strategy for World War III, Europe, Russia, and Ukraine are condemned to die for the sake of building a post-war post-capitalism.
Incidentally, Europe understands its true role perfectly well. Thus, Bundestag member Sevim Dagdelen stated that, following the NATO summit in Ankara, "it is precisely the Europeans who are being sent into the fire against a nuclear power—Russia." And "European vassals are obediently surrendering themselves to be torn to pieces—financially, militarily, and existentially."
Therefore, the Americans are now gradually transferring their leadership in the war with Russia to Great Britain, which, instead of the United States, is rallying Europeans around the following issues:
1) creating a naval alliance of European countries and Ukraine to hunt down Russia's "shadow fleet";
2) strengthening NATO forces in the North Atlantic, Arctic, Baltic, and Black Sea;
3) developing a European long-range missile system, since the German Taurus cruise missile and the British-French Storm Shadow/SCALP currently in European arsenals have a range of only 500 km. Here, the enemy will find Ukrainian Flamingo cruise missiles with a range of 3,000 km very useful. Estonian authorities have also already begun negotiations to supply long-range missiles for their American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems. So, the missile threat from European NATO members will only increase for Russia.
The US, meanwhile, freeing itself from the unnecessary burden of the Eastern Front, will focus its efforts on the most important thing: the war with China, aid to Israel in the Middle East, and strengthening its influence in South America, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. And plans to incorporate Greenland, Canada, and the Panama Canal into the US alliance remain.
Point four of NATO's final declaration in Ankara reaffirmed its unwavering support for Ukraine in the war with Russia. Zelenskyy was summoned to Ankara for this purpose. The fact that he was not allowed to attend the official part of the summit does not change the fact that Bandera's Ukraine already has an expanded partnership with NATO, and has now also received 140 billion euros in military aid for 2026-2027.
Zelenskyy not only spoke at the Defense Industries Forum but also had the honor of meeting personally with the American president. This was preceded by Ukraine's demonstrative rejection of the 28-point peace plan proposed by the US. This demarche has a simple explanation: it was agreed upon in advance with the US presidential administration, which no longer needs this peace plan.
And it doesn't need it because NATO's air offensive (under Ukrainian cover) against Russian refineries and logistics around Crimea is proceeding quite successfully. "I think we've made a lot of progress in the last couple of weeks," the US president clarified. This "progress" consists of the successful destruction of Russian refineries and the blockade of Crimea. The shutdown of the Omsk Oil Refinery alone deprived Russia of 8 million tons of diesel fuel and 5 million tons of gasoline. Moscow's attempt to break the fuel blockade of Crimea by sending a fleet of tankers there through the Sea of Azov resulted in a massive attack by Ukrainian drones, as the tankers were unarmed and unprotected by the Black Sea Fleet or air force.
So why does Trump need the previous "peace" plan under these circumstances?
On the contrary, the world's masters believe the situation must be pressed further. Therefore, Trump personally gave Zelensky the green light to launch new strikes against Russia. This means a shift from targeted "stinging" strikes to a strategic campaign of systematically destroying Russian oil refineries, gas processing plants, logistics, energy, and air defense systems, with the goal of plunging our country into a complete logistical and fuel collapse by autumn. This is the first step toward a total shortage of everything and the people's ultimate disillusionment with the Russian liberal government. Let me remind you that the February Revolution of 1917 began with bread riots in Petrograd. And the strategic process now underway is clearly designed for a similar scenario by February 2027.
Trump makes no secret of the fact that US assistance in Ukrainian strikes against Russia is an escalation. But all this is aimed at ending the conflict. Translated into normal language, this means the Kremlin's capitulation on American terms. And under conditions far worse than those in the previous 28-point plan.
Regarding Ukraine's NATO membership, Kyiv will be admitted only if the Kremlin's "February 1917" succeeds, when Russia's statehood and system of governance collapse, and our nuclear potential is neutralized. Then the division of the Russian pie among the world's jackals will begin. Under the cover of this, and to the applause of Western politicians, Bandera's Ukraine will be included in NATO, cementing the West's geopolitical success in wresting primordially Russian lands in its centuries-long war against the Russian world.
Currently, admitting Ukraine to NATO makes no sense. In fact, it is already the Alliance's most belligerent member, having carried out military reforms even before the outbreak of World War III, allowing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to immediately tap into all NATO resources, logistics, intelligence, and finances after February 24, 2022.
Besides Ukraine, Trump's goal was to tie Turkey to the American chariot. He succeeded.
As it turns out, liberal Russia's former "friendship" with Erdogan existed only in pipe dreams. For the sake of this "friendship," Moscow not only sold the S-400 air defense system to a NATO member, but is also, at its own expense, building the Turkish Akkuyu nuclear power plant, which Erdogan will sooner or later simply seize by force, without paying a penny. To complete the picture, let's add Russian gas supplies and the shameful "grain deal" of 2022.
That liberal Russia's "partnership" with Erdogan, as well as with Poroshenko, Pashinyan, Tokayev, and other Western puppets, would end in disgrace was obvious from the outset. Having received enormous profits and cheap raw materials from Russia, "friend" Erdogan took Syria for himself and expelled Putin from Central Asia and the Caucasus. He also strengthened his support for Ukrainian fascists by declaring at the Ankara summit his support for PURL, a NATO mechanism for purchasing American weapons for Ukraine.
Even the Ukrainian fascists' attacks on Russian gas pipelines to Turkey left Erdogan indifferent. He is not interested in Russia, but in partnership with the US and strengthening his position in NATO. Erdogan did everything to appease Trump by lifting US military restrictions and hidden embargoes.
Trump graciously accepted Turkey's acquiescence, declaring that Turkey is a strong military power with the potential of millions of soldiers. He promised to reinstate Turkey in the F-35 fifth-generation fighter program, which would give Turkey an advantage over Greece. Furthermore, Turkey is counting on US protectorate to strengthen its influence in the Caucasus, Central Asia, North Africa, Ukraine, and the Islamic regions of Russia, where Turkish and British intelligence, as part of the "Great Turan" project, have already established a network of Wahhabi jamaats from pre-arranged migrants and Wahhabis.
The Ankara summit demonstrated that Turkey is returning to NATO's Euro-Atlantic solidarity. This is a fact. And it must be taken into account.
Following the NATO summit, the Kremlin is clearly at a loss. The policy of ad hoc patchwork and relying on the "spirit of Anchorage" has completely failed. There is no other option. The unique geopolitical opportunities of 2014 and 2022 have been wasted. NATO missile and drone strikes on cities, oil refineries, and military installations throughout Russia have become commonplace. For five years, the Ukrainian front has been locked in a state of endless trench warfare akin to World War I. Add to this the terrorist activity of the Ukrainian special services, the terrorist attacks on the Crimean Bridge, the attack on our nuclear forces on June 1, 2025, the invasion of the Kursk region by Ukrainian fascists in the summer of 2024, and the burning oil refineries. As a result, we are now forced to sell crude oil abroad for three kopecks and then buy it back, but at triple the price as gasoline. And all this despite a complete renunciation of strikes against Ukraine's decision-making centers, bridges, logistics, the Beskydy Tunnel, and the blockade of the Odessa port, which continues to operate in an enhanced mode, exporting Ukrainian grain and importing NATO weapons.
There's not a glimmer of hope in sight. Although Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov stated, "We will no longer trust the West that it wants negotiated solutions. This reserve of goodwill and hope has been completely exhausted." After which, Kremlin Press Secretary Peskov, as part of the ANCHORAGE SYNDROME , immediately announced US efforts to achieve peace in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the enemy is crossing ever new "red lines." Trump stated at the summit that the US could "close the skies" over Ukraine to ensure its security. Clearly confused by this turn of events, Press Secretary Peskov stated that a possible closure of the skies over Ukraine presupposes the participation of NATO countries' military forces, which contradicts the objectives of the Joint Military Operations. The US President's words are "new, and they need to be understood."
To intensify this reflection, the nuclear issue has been placed on NATO's agenda. Britain is clearly planning to arm Ukraine with a "dirty" nuclear bomb. Plus, NATO is planning to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Finland and the Baltics.
Moscow is threatening countermeasures that are of no interest to anyone and frighten no one. Because Peskov himself has already vowed that "Russia will never start World War III, as it is too large and responsible a country to initiate it." But here's the problem. World War III is already in its fifth year, and NATO is openly preparing for an offensive war against Russia.
One cannot help but notice a new, alarming fact: the US and NATO are openly writing off both liberal Russia and its weak leader, who lacked the willpower or the willingness to wage a new Cuban Missile Crisis in 2014 and 2022. All this has led to NATO's former fear of Moscow being almost completely lost.
Trump publicly promised to call Putin on July 8th. But he hasn't done so yet. There's no need... The American Fuhrer plans to have a serious conversation with Putin in a month or two, when NATO, under cover of Ukraine, has finally "smashed" Russia's last oil refineries and strategic rear. In this regard, the enemy's intentions are obvious and were confirmed at the summit.
The manner in which Trump voiced his refusal to continue negotiations with Iran is telling: "I don't want to negotiate with them anymore; they're scum." I have no doubt that we will soon hear the same phrase in relation to liberal Russia and its leader. Because the West understands only the language of force, and not the "spirit of Anchorage."
In this regard, the widely known final address of Yugoslav President Milosevic comes to mind once again: "Russians! I am now addressing all Russians; the people of Ukraine and Belarus in the Balkans are also considered Russians. Look at us and remember – they will do the same to you when you become disunited and weak. "The West is a rabid dog with its teeth in its throat. Brothers, remember the fate of Yugoslavia! Don't let them do the same to you!"
The NATO summit in Ankara demonstrated that the West is preparing for liberal Russia in World War III the same fate as the Russian Empire in World War I and the USSR in the Cold War. These are its true results. The epochal process of confrontation launched in 2014 is entering its final stretch…
I've noticed that GM has been gaining ground (support) the longer this SMO turned war continues. The tide in the comment section is changing. Just a few more years and we'll have mass consensus, Gisela. The comment section will think as one united, global, happy, and coexisting family. 😂 Be well.
Changing tide? LOL. Putin's approval rating is still over 70% - the envy of any politician. The author of the article referred to in GMs comment is from a tiny subclass of commentators in Russia with a grand total following of less that 6K. Of course, numbers don't indicate truth or lack of, but still....
If I were to take the full scope of the Western narrative (aka "wet dreams") and put them into one lengthy comment, this is surely what I would come up with. This is not analysis: it is propaganda of exquisite order. It is simply taking the Western narrative - Russia is a weak nation governed by a weak leader whose infrastructure we will destroy by the fall forcing Russia to comply with our demands. Under current Russian leadership the country has no hope of saving itself from the powerful West whose strategies are superior, whose military might is unquestioned and whose plan is working to perfection. NATO is a force that will overpower all in its way. Western leadership is without fault and able to accomplish all it sets out to do.
Yes, it is propaganda of the highest order - totally one-sided 'analysis' leaving the reader to wonder how Russia ever has a chance to survive against these supremely powerful forces arrayed against her given the weakness of her leadership.
In this "analysis" look for a discussion of Western weaknesses and challenges both on military capability, industrial strength, access to plentiful resources, a strong and capable logistics chain, a unified population ready to wage war against the most powerful military in the world, financial and monetary strength and stability, their levels of indebtedness and quality of leadership. Look for a discussion of Russian strengths - a growing arsenal of weaponry and ammo (today far greater then at the beginning of the SMO), development of weapons of considerable advanced technologies, a highly efficient logistics chain, an economy so far strong enough to meet both civilian and military needs, an extremely low debt-to-gdp ratio (unlike the West), almost unlimited natural resources to draw upon, and a resolute, unified population that knows its country's existence is at stake.
Where is all that in this fountain of Western thought?
Answer: it ain't there. Why? Because this is not analysis - it is propaganda.
Don't be so easily convinced, folks. This is war. Bad things happen to both sides in a war. Just because the West has found a way to harm Russian infrastructure, does not mean that Russia is defeated or that it will not adjust and adapt to this new situation - not by a long shot.
And whilst Russia has stated goals for its Ukraine operation, its primary strategy goes back to December 2021 when after its proposal for a pan-European security architecture was arrogantly rejected by the West, Russia stated that as a consequence, such an architecture would have to be forced upon them by military-technical means. That is the real war we are all involved in at present - not the simple operation in Ukraine. Its goals could not be accomplished by a "quick win" over Kiev, but of necessity had to be drawn out over time to drain and weaken the West's military capacity, further weaken its economies, drain its resources and cause friction among its leadership and populations.
So Denis. I am yet to be convinced by our resident propagandist. Perhaps I will change my mind if future conditions change for the worse, but today I see no reason to think differently. The difference, I think, between you and I (and others on this site) is that I look at both sides and draw my resultant conclusions as events unfold - they may change in the future but not because a few silver-tongues have convinced me, but circumstances on the battle front have led to it.
Also, and I apologise for the wordiness, a real analyst would include in his analysis the effect of the Iranian war and China's sanctions on the West's dreams of global domination and a Ukraine win. The Iranians are being used by nuclear powers Russia and China to expose and weaken the USA military strength, its arsenal of missiles and its ability to wage a lengthy war. The US has been severely damaged by Iran (supported by Russia and China) and this has knock-on effects on the West's ability to do what it wants against Russia.
Odd thing being an American Ally. You can only be a junior partner that does whatever whims pop into the crazed American brain.
Canada did not join the War in Vietnam nor Iraq. Suddenly Canada is no longer the US best friend, oh no, Tony Bliar is the new supplicant.
In this day of tRump, loyalty is akin to a dog sniffing arseholes. A commitment to one can last all of 2 or 3 seconds. Strategy can change in the blink of an eye and throwing shit at the wall counting on something to stick, seems the only plan.
Russia is winning, along with China and Iran. And the smothering Western (CIA/Mossad) narrative changes nothing.
I read the Economist decades ago. A fool's script, glossed up claptrap purporting to be reasoned thought.
When GM present a Sergey Rusov clear analys of the NATO-meeting, although off-topic of this good Simplicius article, you shouldnt accuse him of western propaganda. He sees and connect the dots and nothing can change that the development has gone the ”western” way.
You may not like it but realism seldom is likeable.
And best of all, GM didnt mention ”nuke the all” once.
You missed my point. This is a completely one-sided analysis, not at all taking into consideration important factors that negate much of what he said. He sees and connects dots that he picks easily from Western propaganda, not all the dots, only selected dots. Then he connects them into a picture for the gullible.
But I do agree - it is progress that nuking was not mentioned.
Victor is having a hard time letting go of a previously conceived, outdated notion, Mikey. I've seen him flip to the other side once, then he slipped back to where he is now. I see him trying hard to be objective, but those preconceived demons still hold him where he can't cross the line. But he's trying and remains polite. That's why he says he'll change his mind when he sees fit to do so. He just needs more evidence. One day, I suspect he will have had enough of it and cross the line again. Do you get what I'm saying here, Mikey? lol
Your exposition completely ignores the key non-materialist element around which all other aspects revolve: western leaders are implacable in their hatred of Russia and Russian values, and will do anything, stop at nothing, perform any kind of evil to accomplish their goals. In contrast, Russia under Putin still behaves as if it can have reasonable expectations about western intentions. Thus the powerful forces that Russia could otherwise bring to bear are not being applied, to be ultimately wasted under the rubric "use or lose".
Your mindset is mired in a purely materialist outlook, fixated on current weaknesses in western economies and force structures. But all anyone needs to do to burst your bubble is present the Afghanistan war. The west learned a key lesson from its loss in that war. Now the west is laser focused on terrorism, not so much to combat it, but to emulate it.
Think of it this way.. the west is taking the part of the Taliban, and they want to eliminate from their territory the foreign forces and value system represented by Russia.
Oh, you think China will come to Russia's rescue? Think again. The Chinese government consists of some of the slimiest muhfuhs on this planet, due to their immense population and absolute control thereof. The racial supremacist Han Chinese couldn't give a flying fuck about the Russia-west conflict. It's an opportunity for those two sides to wear themselves out. Regardless of who wins, the Chinese will find ways to come out on top in Asia, at which point either Russia or the West will have to accept a fait accompli of Fortress Asia.
Russia's fate is currently in Putin's hands, and so far he is clueless. There's a hard road and an easy road before him, and if he keeps on his current path, he can kiss his nation goodbye.
dream on. not engaging with the dismal level of some of the comments means you're creating your own constipated echo chamber. bullies in the sandpit, happy indeed.
No, GM whoever he is or whatever they are can write their own substack. Then stick his head out even at little bit so the rest of the world can engage in the to and fro of real debate and observe his absurd fantasies and outright lies. Here these pieces are much harder to search and cross refence over time.
Hiding out in the comment section of a much better writer and a much smarter man whilst also trying to push your own wheelbarrow is a weak and dirty trick.
GM is a tick on Simplicius' skin and a fluke in his liver.
Gisela, don't be influenced by pretty words and well-structured arguments - think deeper and broader. Think hard about the West's ability and capacity to follow through on their boasting, their promises and their wishful thinking. Just because they proclaim loudly and arrogantly that they are going to do this or that does not in any way imply that they can actually follow through or that Russia will not offer resistance.
Imagine if you would.... Kim Jung Un attacking US positions and value targets in greater Japan with drones....... Targets Guam and [if] US [gets its] bases [back] in the PI.
Saving his nukes for if US decides to do something stupid like fire back!
Iran is doing this w/o nukes..... imagine if you would Iran with nukes and long range.
There is no such thing as a continuing status quo. All must adapt or die. Putin understood that very thing and applied it when he came to power. It is ironically, what the likes of GM criticise him for.
Putin was ill-informed and had no clue what to do, Julianne.
How many times did he get fooled?
Now, even Russia admits that the SMO has turned into a war, but it has never been officially announced.
How many Russian generals got fired for incompetence and corruption after the failed SMO from the beginning?
Putin screwed up. Instead of being the initiator, all of Russia's actions have been reactive. Ukraine is more of a threat to Russia now than it was at the start of the SMO because its vital oil production infrastructure has taken drone hits over 500 km behind its own lines. Russia declared a ban on exporting diesel fuel. Europe has been emboldened because Russia failed to set and follow through on the red lines it set. Even the Baltics don't fear Russia. Now Finland wants Nukes. If Ukraine had been soundly neutralized in the beginning, it would have deterred Europe, and things would have been different. Now Russia faces a much bigger problem on a much larger scale, as it remains reactive in deciding what to do next. Even the Russian population favoured more decisive action. This war has nearly exhausted Russia's reserves as the country faces high inflation and gas shortages.
And the best you can come up with is "nostalgia rots the brain". You are a smart lady, but you got this Putin "understood that very thing and applied it when he came to power" all wrong. Yet you stubbornly hold a view that has a short lifespan, the longer this war continues. Think, Julianne, not with emotion but with logic. You are smarter than this.
So you will repeat this idiot, as he is a truthteller? You are literally a shitlib with absolute moronic hate against Russia. Maybe stop poisoning this commentary section?
Why don't you post this in your own substack? Why hijack other's substack? This is not normal human behavior. It is grotesque and a disgusting attitude
Russia states it will not go down without a nuclear strike.
Prior to that it could attack america directly, finally. Take out their reapers etc. above the Black Sea. And blow up their chipfabs and ai centres and Space X platforms. Russia can bring the house down as it goes down.
I still don't know who the players are but of course it looks very much like the oligarchs, the traders, the businesses: i.e. the inhuman balance sheet that reckons according to profit alone, no human considerations.
Well then if that's the case we have a world of traders and they are not all of one mind I'm sure.
The insanities of politicians they use in their own interest as best they can I'm sure and generally merely 'lobby'. But here we see in america's case they do more than lobby; they are the govt. Well they should have natural enemies all around the globe of the same kind. It should devolve into a fight between oligarchs with trade and profit the counters.
i.e. If you're going to destroy my business I'll destroy yours.
And who is the weakest of them all? America? Fat, soft, bankrupt, spoiled rotten. And next: Europe.
Problem is that the same logic applied to the USSR too, and it was collapsed from within by its own leadership because it was better for them personally to do that than to defend the country
And it's the same people in charge in Russia to this day...
I’d only make one correction: “The epochal process of confrontation launched in …..? is entering its final stretch…” Write in any date of the many choices in the last couple centuries.
After reading your article, only one question remains:
Why are the Russian so stupid and so deeply submissive to the west?
Is it their adoration of material stuff and money or some historical or even psychological reasons?
Russia fell down it is so weak as the other Eastern European countries, incompetent and corrupt like Serbia or Moldavia.
I expected much more competence from Russia and Russians, specially during the war.
How it is possible that Russian politicians does not understand the real mentality of the West. Was that ice cream in Toscana so sweet that they lost their minds? Were the whores of Paris so delicate that they last all self respect during S/M sessions there?
And yes, Russian politicans have lost their minds.
They think they are making a rational calculation here -- better to collapse the country as long as they are appointed local feudals in vassalage to the West than to fight back, in the course of which they are likely to be swept away by patriotic forces.
What they fail to understand is that the West has not intention to even let them be local vassals.
another Soros propaganda about the "bad USA and the bad Trump", typical London shit. If you don't understand the war between London City and Wall Street, then I have no help for you.
"World War III is already in its fifth year, and NATO is openly preparing for an offensive war against Russia."
This all leads but to one conclusion: If war is inevitable, strike now, before the enemy attempts to rearm. Well, ok, maybe strike in 2027 when Macron is out and the AfD has a shot at usurping Merz. But otherwise, why wait?
Why start a war with a billion people? Why bomb someone? all these calls to rob the West are advice from a fool. Bomb to what? so that they can mobilize the entire West into a single Reich? And for the Russian nation to bear the brunt of the war? Aren't you tired of yelling this nonsense?
”Edit: Didnt first fully comprehend that not a word was from GM (article written by Sergey Rusov) but he support the thoughts expressed in the article.”
Its off-topic from Simplicius article but worthwile to read and understand.
I fully agree on what is going on and going to happen.
And US is hoping for a WW2 2.0 where they wrestled the imperialist iniative and gutted Britain, occupied Germany and Japan and ”educated” the population to the prize of only 400 000 KIA in War where 60 millions perished.
One note: Ukraine doesnt need to be a NATO-member. Neither now or after the eventual destruction of Russia. It has been treated as an article 5 member from the start and NATO has violated its own statutes ever since. It started with Serbia and continued with Afghanistan and Libya. NATO is not a defence coalition.
Political or societal destruction. When people doesnt believe their leader will secure their future, things comes apart. As Sergey Rusov noted, 1917 and 1991.
I would add that Europeans are proud with their role. They show no resistance, and soon they will be sending their sons to die in this conflict. It is something they always wanted but didn't dare to say.
The war is so interesting for Europeans who expect "something more" in their lives. That enlightenment mask of rationality has fallen down and we see European culture as it really is: rabid pirates searching for plunder and kill.
It is only that the rest of the world still sees Europe/USA as "the garden". The middle classes of the world are now united. The days of discomfort and animosity are over. Imagine 80 millions of Egyptians kneeling in front of Israel.
Niggles, you do not know my revised and improved battle plan as I have not shared it yet. It's cunning and brilliant with a Napoleonic twist in it. When the time is right, I will tell it.
I will remain nice to you and set a standard of good communication in the face of adverse stupidities.
And the weapon caches and stay-behinds intact, for another 10 years of Operation Aerodynamic 2.0, but no Soviet Union and Stalin to keep it suppressed.
Capitalism and consumerism are the two pillars of the new gods money and debt. The campaigning West now choose to crusade with vague, hypocritical and meaninless terms such as "democrazy and human rights" when in reality "only in debt we trust". Like all other crusades in the past based on dieties who needed worship, that would always be imposed because of "goodness" through violence for the sake of rape and pillage. The new entity "money" only needs faith. A belief in its ability to provide uplift, secure, dignify, create respect etc. Money makes everything better so it deserves our faith as life is no longer possible without "money". A dirty entity that corrupts more than it cures, that cheapens everything that is of true value and has been the catalyst for humanities greatest destruction especially in the fiat form. What will the crusading West become if the world starts rejecting their printed paper? If faith is no longer placed in Western printed paper to be exchangeable for life sustaining resources. What will happen if the producers take control of their production?
It was the Cold War, then sanctions, then Russia Russia Russia!, now Ukraine. The same people/ideology behind all of it. They will never stop. Russia would have to nuke London (+ MI5 and MI6), and Washington (+ CIA) to ever put an end to it. Not going to happen. Thus, we will continue to live in chaos and unresolvement.
Since we are already dreaming and praying, why not dream and pray for better missiles? That's how humanity improves, one day something is impossible and another you are watching it live and can't believe awesomeness of it.
Western propaganda is constructed on the now age old myth that life in Western countries continues as though it is still the 1980's. The '80's weren't perfect but they were pretty good. The 2020's are nothing like the '80's.
2020's Western governments resemble buildings constructed with what is now soggy wood infested with termites. Structurally they are still standing but each day they lean & wobble a little bit more. One day in the not too distant future a wind will blow into them at just the right angle and they will start to fall, just like a line of dominos.
Some of us wonder how people in the East will react when it happens, because as it stands today it appears most of those people still believe the myth mentioned earlier.
“It exposes the fact, for instance, that contrary to the West’s beliefs, oligarchs in Russia had already been without real political power for some time…”
What? The western consensus for a decade has been that Russia is no longer an oligarchy. There’s some disagreement about when exactly “oligarchy” ceased to describe the regime because to an extent it’s subjective, but I’ve never seen anyone put the date very far past Putin’s return to the presidency. The heyday of the oligarchs didn’t even last that far into the 00s. Putin got them in line pretty quickly.
You will see some ignorant westerners say that Russia is an oligarchy… because they heard that once 15-20 years ago when it was arguably true.
And yet calling Russian tycoons and moguls "oligarchs" is an unalienable staple of The Narrative. Except one can be called an oligarch only if one can coerce your country's leadership into making decisions it doesn't want to make (the "-arch" part of the word meaning "power").
And in modern Russia the only people who can coerce Vladimir Putin into or out of decisions he doesn't want to make (I can think of) is the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia and Ramzan Kadyrov (the Chechen warlord) — neither one is a tycoon or a mogul, so not an oligarch.
All the fat jewish bankers, media magnates, and oil/gas monopolists of the Russian 90s are now in Israel.
I mean… is that supposed to be an argument? yes, people do still use the term oligarch routinely. But it’s a term used for historical reasons rather than their actual role as part of an oligarchy. I won’t respond to the rest, it’s nonsense.
I find 'oligarch' to be a shibboleth. As soon as someone uses the term to describe others it shows more about their own mindset than the ones they are describing.
In that states function as social super organisms, government, executive and regulatory, is the nervous system, while money and banking are blood and the circulation system.
The problem with the West is that we have evolved enough to understand that as government has to serve the entire society, if only to prevent civil wars and revolutions, that it works best as a public utility, while we haven’t yet come to understand the same principle applies to banking.
When the medium enabling markets is a player and not a utility, the rest are tenant farmers.
The puppet masters pulling the strings are a financial system that has become a metastatic cancer and rather than effectively allocating value where it would have the greatest benefit, most is being siphoned off to feed large egos.
It would be like the heart telling the hands and feet to go suck dirt, as it is keeping the blood for itself.
Russia and China have essentially gone back to private government, with Putin and Xi as respective CEO's, to keep their oligarchs in check and ours at bay.
Our entire economic paradigm is seriously flawed.
To paraphrase, "First we fire all the economists."
As linear, goal oriented creatures in this cyclical, circular, reciprocal, feedback generated reality, people see money as signal to save and store, while markets need it to circulate. Consequently Econ 101 refers to money as both medium of exchange and store of value.
Roads are a medium, parking lots are a store. If we treated roads like we treat money, everything would be paved over, but we would still be fighting over who has the biggest lots and charging others who want to cross ours.
In your body, blood is the medium, fat, as well as bone and muscle, are the store. Mix them up and you are dead. Try telling a doctor that medium and store are interchangeable and he will look at you like you are really stupid, but to an economist, it would be common knowledge. Consequently the entire financial accounting system of society has been turned into a giant casino. The financial tail is wagging the economic dog.
As a medium, you own money like you own the section of road you are on, or the air and water flowing through your body. It doesn't have your picture on it, you don't hold the copyrights and, most importantly, are not directly responsible for its value, like a personal check.
When we view it as private property, then those with more than they need can rent it out and collect interest.
If we treat it as a public utility, like roads, we would tax those with more than they know what to do with. For one thing this would reduce the obsession with gathering enormous amounts of paper value, that really serves no purpose, other than as chips in the casino.
While we might think of it as a commodity to mine from the economy, like we mine gold from the ground, or bitcoin from computer processing, it functions as a contract, between the holder and the rest of society.
As a contract, storing the asset side of the ledger requires a debt on the other side, so much economic, social and political activity is designed to generate debt, to store the illusion of wealth. Such as burying younger generations in debt, than investing in them as the future.
That the flunkies allowed in DC are best at running up debt and the financial sector needs this debt to grow metastatically is not coincidence. The secret sauce of capitalism is public debt backing private wealth.
“The real money is in bonds.”
When greed becomes the primary motivating factor, strategy is bacteria racing across the petri dish. Infinite growth economics. Yet we are starting to reach the edge of the petri dish.
The advantage of multicellular organisms is being able to sense and navigate their surroundings, but what we have now is a case of societal sepsis, as everything breaks down and it's everyone for themselves.
Consider that if laissez-faire capitalism is getting rid of all those pesky rules and regulations, then the purest capitalists in the Americas are the cartels. Though they do have three very basic rules, that have existed from the times we were bands of apes, up through monarchy;
1) The Big Guy Rules. 2) The Big Guy sets the rules. 3) If you want to argue, you get one chance. If you win, you are the Big Guy.
So do we respect the fact civilization needs some degree of regulation, or do we just keep repeating the same idiocies?
Western Europe is geographically broken up into various moderate sized regions, that have become the basis of the various cultures and nations. While Central Asia is far more geographically open, so the cultures tended to be demographically larger and more fluid in their relationship to geography.
So the Easterners have been migrating west basically since Neanderthals. Consequently the languages are Indo-European, the most original Europeans are the Celts, pushed up against the western edge, Aryan refers back to Iran and there is this instinctive fear of Hordes from the East.
So Eastern Europe, as the battleground, is a bunch of paranoid micro states, who have turned hating on the neighbors into a high art.
As well as that the Western paradigm is very object oriented, from atoms to individuals, while reality is that feedback between nodes and networks.
So European Diaspora Judaism, as basically a supra national social organization, came to be a prominent part of the networking mechanisms across Europe. Traders, bankers, lawyers, diplomats, media and all the other professions feeding on the internationalist cosmopolitanism.
Yet the core of that culture, the grain of sand at the middle of the pearl, was some heavily mythologized Iron Age nation, bounced between the various civilizations of the Ancient world.
So with the creation of Israel, that European deeply nationalist version of Judaism, Zionism, came to be the locus of all this energy, influence and wealth. Basically enormous wealth and influence being poured down a very deep rabbit hole.
Look at Israel and all its various factions, that could best be described as suicide cults, with a messianic complex as the carrot, a persecution complex as the stick and nuclear purple Koolaid.
When the feedback loops don’t have any circuit breakers, it all goes swirling down that black hole in the middle and when it becomes totally unstable, it all goes Nova.
Which happened to be the name of that music festival caught up in October 7th.
The Zionists and the capitalists are in the process of finding they don’t make good bunk mates.
Civilization does have some degree of regulation. Obviously it is not the sort you believe in. So who does the regulating? Politicians? Kind of what we have now. Mostly a corrupt, scummy bunch in my view. So who replaces them? Who guards the guardians?
The anarchies of desire versus the tyrannies of judgment.
I certainly believe regulation is fundamental to structure and it has to be calibrated.
There is too much in some ways and not enough in others. So it's more a matter of sitting back and understanding the beast, than just running around sticking bandaids over bullet wounds.
As for our current crop of political stooges, they are moral prostitutes to the financial overlords.
PAUL CRAIG ROBERTS ON PUTIN’S “BLINDNESS”, MELNICHENKO’S PLAN FOR WAR & PEACE BETWEEN THE OLIGARCHS, ERDOGAN’S EPILEPSY COLLAPSE – THREE READINGS FOR THE BEACH, PLUS SAND BETWEEN THE PAGES
Russia tabled new security architecture docs in 2021. Were rejected out of hand, then military-technical means started with the SMO. Eventually they will return to demand what is in those documents.
John Helmer and his "Dances with Bears" is not read by enough people. I find his accounting of Russian/Global politics very insightful and to the point.
Don't you ever tire of Putin bashing? It's not like it will make any difference to the outcome so what exactly is the point?
Don't you ever get tired of kissing his ass?
hahaha, good one.
Denis?
It all boils down to a dispute over a woman.
GM thought he had absolute seigneurial rights over her, but Putin then invited her to his dacha in Crimea, at which point she switched allegiance, and GM has never forgiven him.
lol, Comedic relief is good.
It's been a long war.
"Cherchez la femme" is always the primary rule in politics, as well as in life.
You mean like when Trumpstein got all jealous when Melania was all google-eyed and pressed up to double kiss Justin Trudeau, so then Don decided he wanted to invade Canada.
Few get the picture as well as you.
There is no room for 45 oil tankers in the Sea of Azov.
Let's gooo!
Hilarious
Yep. While democracy does not exist at all, we have oligarchies and they trample freely on human rights and in fact anything human at all: their whole mind set that of a mindless profit making machine.
Note the heavy hand of Lynn Forester de Rothschild on Economist content.
Well, the family tradition that has been in force for hundreds of years is obligatory for her, isn't it ?
It is.
Not any longer...
Since they do not appear to be under any form of state control, I doubt they have any need for plausible deniability.
More likely that:
a) they recognize the dying business model in the era of self-publishing
and
b) they see better investment options elsewhere.
— Gaetano Mosca [The Ruling Class, 1939]
That principle was spelled out at Genesis 3, 15, together with the two competing beliefs or ethical systems you allude to.
From the time of the beginning, and the events that played out in the Garden of Eden, and through Cain's murder of Righteous Abel, mankind has been afflicted with an existential struggle between the two principles you refer to - of good and evil.
No clear winner in this fight will ever be apparent until the end, when evil will be utterly destroyed.
"Choose ye this day whom you will serve."
@RdA
"The Ruling Class" indeed!

Profit making is anything but "mindless".
Raging against the machine is however. To be effective, it requires just as much discipline and focus. Now you know why they win.
It requires discipline and focus as in a machine. It requires computational focus on a simple mathematic: does this return a profit. That is as mindless as AI.
So I believe you fail to understand there.
Then you talk about raging against the machine. A non sequitur.
Then you claim the above two amount to proof of why 'they' win. I can't know who/what you mean but on the assumption you mean the profit takers I'd point out;
Good write!
Is it themselves they are trying to persuade or is it us?
both?
Then the ever important question: Who are "they"?
While "everyone" knows who "they" are, no one agrees with anyone else on the answer.
Au contraire, we all agree on the answer, and you know it too, but you are in denial.
"They" are the nefarious collection of vile, venal, self-appointed "elites" running the decrepit and thoroughly undemocratic institutions in the West for their own enrichment and to live out their petty power fantasies.
Clear enough?
Like I said, “Everyone “ knows who “they “ are.
So “no”. It’s not clear enough. Name a name.
It's neo-Nazism. They are above all, and everyone else are subhumans.
So neo-judaism would be a better word - but you have been brainwashed.
Thanx

==============
NATO SUMMIT. RESULTS.
1) creating a naval alliance of European countries and Ukraine to hunt down Russia's "shadow fleet";
2) strengthening NATO forces in the North Atlantic, Arctic, Baltic, and Black Sea;
[cont.]
I am very sorry, but I have to agree with you.
I've noticed that GM has been gaining ground (support) the longer this SMO turned war continues. The tide in the comment section is changing. Just a few more years and we'll have mass consensus, Gisela. The comment section will think as one united, global, happy, and coexisting family. 😂 Be well.
No Denis. Before the winter takes hold the tide will have conclusively turned here. The truth is not determined by a majority vote.
The sooner you follow the changing tide, the easier it will be to swim, Julianne.
It's never too late. There is only futility in resistance. In the distance, the clock still ticks.😂
Don't forget to jerk off
Changing tide?
The US has been severely damaged by Iran (supported by Russia and China) and this has knock-on effects on the West's ability to do what it wants against Russia.
wtf does this have to do with the 600+ Ukrainiac drones fired into russia DAILY?
45 tankers in Azov Sea smoked. It goes on every single day and Russia cannot do anything about it
Hi,
very eloquently put together and pleasently to read. I concur with your analysis.
Cheers
I like you no matter what you say, whether I agree or not, Victor.
I am your Canadian ally across the pond.
We are both on the same side, and there is nothing wrong with seeing things differently, mate.
Come on Victor…!
Do you get what I'm saying here, Mikey? lol
Note that I didn't write this, it's from a Russian commentator, which I clearly linked
Well said!
Very good, Eric.
Yes, your cheap Info Ops ilk has been infesting the comment sections of this and other bloggers. "Tide", my backside.
dream on. not engaging with the dismal level of some of the comments means you're creating your own constipated echo chamber. bullies in the sandpit, happy indeed.
Why are you "very sorry", Gisela? Are you force to agree and not responsible for what you willingly do?
Gisela, don't be influenced by pretty words and well-structured arguments - think deeper and broader. Think hard about the West's ability and capacity to follow through on their boasting, their promises and their wishful thinking. Just because they proclaim loudly and arrogantly that they are going to do this or that does not in any way imply that they can actually follow through or that Russia will not offer resistance.
It's clear as day that's why
The world will be sorry too
It's hardly a personal matter
My comment above in response to Gisela's.
Then you'd be imagining peace.
Very good, GM.
GM's arguments are always based on the assumption that the Kremlin is naive, and that Americans are very, very clever.
Well put.
Melnichenko was quite critical of Russia as it stands.
He's basically saying that things need to change.
That doesn't say anything favourable about Putin's status quo.
He said it, not me.
There is no such thing as a continuing status quo. All must adapt or die. Putin understood that very thing and applied it when he came to power. It is ironically, what the likes of GM criticise him for.
Nostalgia rots the brain, Denis.
"He's basically saying that things need to change."
Maybe he has learned the limits of "I only love money, money, money"?
The Kremlin is not naive; it is corrupt. Melnichenko himself said it.
If you use the word "corrupt" to describe the circle around Putin, what word would you use for Trump, Rutte and the rest of European vassals?
They're all corrupt, Luis, except maybe Fico. These are the Globalists who all forced the bioweapon on their populations. Every single one of them.
Denis
"Melnichenko said it." Where? I've read all three chapters of The Economist and I don't see anything like it.
So you will repeat this idiot, as he is a truthteller? You are literally a shitlib with absolute moronic hate against Russia. Maybe stop poisoning this commentary section?
GM's arguments land because they are feasible and worrisome. The US may play the fool but it also happens to call the shots.
Why don't you post this in your own substack? Why hijack other's substack? This is not normal human behavior. It is grotesque and a disgusting attitude
Not everyone thinks like you, AverageJOE.
Who made you judge and jury here?
For a newbie here, making a first comment, why not make a worthwhile comment?
Present your case and stop whining because you really have nothing to contribute.
Alternate points of view are the greatest strength of non-censored media.
Yes, the same people in power who revived the Russian nation and are at war with the entire West. Are you an idiot or are you pretending?
It's not my article, I am merely reposting.
Are there any patriotic forces in Russia?
It's (Military + MIC + local industry) vs. (bankers + resource extraction oligarchs + Putin)
therefore, they have been fighting with the whole West for 4 years and bigger picture for 10 years now. Is there some kind of Cipso bot
"Russia fell down it is so weak as the other Eastern European countries, incompetent and corrupt like Serbia or Moldavia."
Another clown, so weak that she defeated all of NATO in a proxy war. Are you a fool?
another Soros propaganda about the "bad USA and the bad Trump", typical London shit. If you don't understand the war between London City and Wall Street, then I have no help for you.
I mean there's not a lot to dispute in this oped.
at this point, the tide of the war has turned and it has done so to AFU's advantage.
Thanks for posting,
Nice little fantasy story. Very detailed.
So if it is WWIII then why strike EU vassals? Gotta go for the jugular in DC.
Why start a war with a billion people? Why bomb someone? all these calls to rob the West are advice from a fool. Bomb to what? so that they can mobilize the entire West into a single Reich? And for the Russian nation to bear the brunt of the war? Aren't you tired of yelling this nonsense?
No, Russia should just patiently sit and wait, till the ZioWest is fully ready for battle, only then should Russia do something, right ?
Excellent analysis worth its own substack!
Eventual destruction? By whom? Nuclear winter is bad for business, even a jewdaic one.
That is the future.
"Mr Melnichenko issued his warning in over 60 hours of interviews with The Economist"
Leave the tape recorder running for 60 minutes with a Russian and you can edit it to say what ever you want. But 60 hours.....
WTF is DaWest?
You're not at war with DaWest - it is DEAD!
DaSynagogue of Satan killed it - meet your enemy DSOS - https://crushlimbraw.blogspot.com/search?q=Synagogue+satan&updated-max=2024-03-24T10:50:00-07:00&max-results=20&start=0&by-date=false&m=1
It is still astonishing that people remain so historically illiterate regarding the natural human effects of the West's tactics.
Or even still fail to reflect on "what would I do? were they sitting in Russia.
"What would I do"?
I would have forced a Ukrainian abdication within about three months of the SMO.
It could have been done with the right plan and preparation.
Short and sweet.
There would be no NATO supplies entering Ukraine because it would be under Russian control.
This SMO has turned into a big mess.
I'll leave it at that for now. lol
We've seen your "right plan" before.
It's just as stupid and ignorant of both reality and history as you are.
Fortunately neither Putin or his Generals are as ignorant and incapable of critical thinking as you and GM are.
Niggles, you do not know my revised and improved battle plan as I have not shared it yet. It's cunning and brilliant with a Napoleonic twist in it. When the time is right, I will tell it.
I will remain nice to you and set a standard of good communication in the face of adverse stupidities.
A cunning plan, Baldric!
FORTUNATELY?
how in ANY WAY is what has gone on in this war anything resembling good fortune?
And the weapon caches and stay-behinds intact, for another 10 years of Operation Aerodynamic 2.0, but no Soviet Union and Stalin to keep it suppressed.
The "western elites" can't imagine anyone whose loyalty is to something other than money. It is the very definition of "globalist".
An excellent piece, Simplicius! This is why I subscribe.
Amen. Worth every penny.
Great piece, Simplicius. Thank you!
I dream and pray of oreshniks in Langley
And the city of London.
the missile does not have the range to reach N VA, you moron
Since we are already dreaming and praying, why not dream and pray for better missiles? That's how humanity improves, one day something is impossible and another you are watching it live and can't believe awesomeness of it.
Russia has ICBMs that can easily reach Langley or anywhere else on the planet
the oreshnik is a MRBM
The destruction of the West is by the delibrate intent of the oligarchy running the West.
The Jew problem.
Easy, Goy.
Zios, Talmud and Chabad are part of the problem you seek.
Jew is too general a word, DH.
No. The Jew is the problem. The god chosen / goyim belief system is the same from them all.
Why are you defending it ?
https://youtu.be/1HozzxZaAw0
Israel kills brothers, World Cup party host in Gaza,
The decline has been constant, but ye your not wrong, waaaay better back then Im sure.
If I could go back to the 80's I'd do it in a heartbeat. Maybe it can be like that again one day.
First we need to flush the Patriot Act and everything that came with it.
The 1880s
People Putinsplain here non stop how he is kowtowing to oligarchs' demands.
It is an unpaid article, just sit back and enjoy. Shitshow is coming.
"it’s a term used for historical reason" --- yes, that's what you usually find in the footnotes explaining the term. :)
Consider that if laissez-faire capitalism is getting rid of all those pesky rules and regulations, then the purest capitalists in the Americas are the cartels. Though they do have three very basic rules, that have existed from the times we were bands of apes, up through monarchy;
1) The Big Guy Rules. 2) The Big Guy sets the rules. 3) If you want to argue, you get one chance. If you win, you are the Big Guy.
So do we respect the fact civilization needs some degree of regulation, or do we just keep repeating the same idiocies?

"The secret sauce of capitalism is public debt backing private wealth."
Thanks for that gem. Really got me
Reminded me that our previous finance minister ran off to help the nazis in Ukraine. Your probably better suited for that role than that corrupt.c unt
It does seem the monarchy and parliament are just stage props for the City.
"the problem with the west" is that Jews now occupy or have bought the principal levers of power
The question is, Why?
HELMER covered this as well:

Russia tabled new security architecture docs in 2021. Were rejected out of hand, then military-technical means started with the SMO. Eventually they will return to demand what is in those documents.
John Helmer and his "Dances with Bears" is not read by enough people. I find his accounting of Russian/Global politics very insightful and to the point.
He is actually a fiction writer.
He seems to have some strong biases.
