Saw this come up on my email. It’s a hotmail account and strange I am finally getting email from Substack subs. Your detail is simply amazing.

I do not have an intelligent comment to Ieave about this post. Tho I did donate (coffee) I don’t believe I can leave a question in your mailbag to be answered?

My question is this: Though I have not met either you or Alex Krainer you strike me as similar figures. Both seem to be humble and extremely professional/cordial individuals. Have read and listened to AK a bit longer than reading you. He put out this piece about Hyper Sonics. It strike similar detail to the bullshit (most likely) put out several weeks ago about the Khinzal taking out a 500ft bunker.

Alex is relaying data from a former Croat Military Leader. Apparently what he is conveying happened almost a month after hostilities officially kicked off. Here is the link/read. Was wondering what you thought of this? I didn’t know how else to get your opinion on the matter. This makes more sense IMO than the story put out several weeks ago. In that one a number of NATO brass got killed. In this version doesn’t sound like any human lives were lost…TY

Very interesting article. Thanks for posting. I would love to have that whole video in his post translated, but not available on that video.

The EXCOCET Missile that hit HMS Sheffield did not detonate. Burning residual rocket motor propellant & debris started a fire & the impact breached one of the ships main fire mains (pressurised @ 40Bar) which was at least 3 decks above the waterline. This hampered damage control efforts.

Expand full comment

A similar fate befell HMS Coventry which was hit by a series of bombs, the main fire main was breached in multiple places well above the waterline & uncontrolled flooding lead to a rapid capsizing & subsequent sinking of the vessel.

The uncontrolled fire on HMS Sheffield spread through the SEA DART magazine & the ship eventually burned out.

So that giant hole was made without even a detonation? Imagine the size of the hole if it detonated. Yet we're supposed to believe 2 Exocet-sized Neptune missiles went into the Moskva and both detonated and yet they leave no hole to speak of?

Not sure but instinctively I highly doubt it would be aluminum alloy, and certainly Moskva, being one of the largest cruisers in the world, dwarfs the Sheffield in size. It's more than double the weight in tonnage. So, yes any potential hole in the hull would certainly appear smaller on the Moskva. But then we have to weigh in the fact that double the explosive power went into it, which sort of negates the size difference, since they claim 2 Neptunes hit it, which are almost the same size as an Exocet.

Nice recap of why Ukraine should never be believed about anything.

If it was a saboteur, wouldn't the Russians have said as much? Even if he died in the act, surely the Russians would have figured out who did it? They have let Ukraine have a propaganda victory by not saying it was sabotage. Just my questions after reading your exhaustive and well documented analysis.

Expand full comment

That's a good question, my thinking is that, due to the heavily 'strategic' nature of this loss, i.e. the fact that the flagship can technically be listed amongst Russia's strategic assets as it could house nuclear missiles on board, any such details about its loss would be kept secret because by revealing them, Russia would be implicitly revealing highly sensitive vulnerabilities that could be used against other such ships of its class in Russia's other fleets.

Russia likely does know the exact reason the Moskva went down, but due to this sensitive nature of this ship class, that will be state secret for a long time, at least until after the conflict.

Particularly because, in a high intensity conflict like that, if you reveal that you know HOW your enemy did something, you could be revealing too much, as you're now giving them an advantage of knowing that YOU know, which allows them to modify their future approaches, etc.

They could have stated it was a saboteur even if it hadn't been/they didn't know that it had.

They went the route of silence instead.

Could have been human purely accidental / human error, meaning:

- fuel line burst and triggered a fire which spread

- ammunition was stored, came loose, and blew up

It would be interesting to see an diagram of the internal layout of the Moskva to see if the external explosion point on the hull proximates with something combustible on the interior (fuel, ammunition, torpedo rack, etc.)

It could have been an accident...it could have been deliberate.

But if it were deliberate do you SERIOUSLY expect the Ru Navy to name & same the perpetrators responsible?

Even if they could be held accountable?

A modern naval vessel (even one of this age) is a massively complicated piece of equipment & some if it’s crew are required to work in isolation & at times every member of the crew will be alone for periods. It is very easy for someone to commit an act of sabotage & get away with it during the ensuing chaos of a ships fire at sea.

On the same way that yes...young 21-25 year old members of the military DO get to handle sensitive & highly protected documents & material on a routine basis & it is very easy to remove these items from secure places IF YOU REALLY want to.

The basis of all of this is TRUST.

There does not have to be a gigantic conspiracy theory behind every incident that happens.

Some of you really are away with the fairies.

Thank you.

I know who I will not believe. I will not believe any entity that is aligned with any of the Western countries.

It could have very well been an act of sabotage. Sabotage this fits closer to Ukrainian’s modus operandi

With a heavy heart, I read this and view the photos, etc. My Great, Great Uncle, the Captain of the “Caspian”, heard the call to go save the Titanic. I keep the newspaper clippings at home, occasionally looking thru them. Apparently, my genealogy/family history is… sea faring folks. Godspeed, Russia💙🇷🇺❤️

I heard it was asked by BOJO himself, remember the timing when after the failed negos in Ankara, the Kiev feint to pressure ZE to negociate, Russia left Kiev area. Bojo and the UK clique never understood the goal of the RU pressure ops on Kiev (after failed RU regime change), they believed ''Russia is weak'', this is our chance to destroy them once and for all and then steal all their ressources, kill VVP, devide Russia, put a kind of Navalny in charge...'we believed they were so strong', we were wrong(Macron even fired his head of military intel general) in fact they are(RU) a paper tiger. Coded message sent via diplomatic source after the sinking: no Odessa, NEVER it is our only red line, don't touch it otherwise we will destroy the rest of the fleet, Crimea and Moscow if necessary(L Truss later talked about that in sept but is was deleted).Like her tweet 'done' about NS Sabotage (also a joint op UK US POL Norway,Danemark maybe?)Even if S Hersh never talked about UK being involved, Helmer says the Kremlin has proof of UK participation. All terror acts are ALWAYS involving UK SAS MI6 with local aid of SBU, sometime CIA but less often, they have their areas of 'specialities'.In the 'leaks' we see they are present in 404 in force (and the nr is underevaluated 10 x ).

Bojo went to Kiev in person to deliver US UK NATO message, resist and win, you will have unlimited weapons, and cash and special SAS protection for Zelensky and family + exfiltration with UK pasport if ever necessary. The all EU UK NATO narrative suddenly changed for ''Ukraine will win, we will do everything for that''.

The two 'actions' are of course linked. Connecting the dots. Same BS with the fake grain deal, this war is not about Ukraine or ukrainians but about Odessa and control of the Black sea, and the famous crazy UK POL project 'intermarum' from Baltic to Black sea we will reign again... and if we can retake Crimea it is total victory and Russia is finished as 'big power'.

Millions of ukies may be killed, the all Ukraine destroyed they don't care as long they keep Odessa and Nikolaev if possible where they build 3 bases,2 are destroyed now?

In fact Odessa is the safest place to be in 404now even more than Llov (nato command center 1).

I believe Lyviv NATO command centre just got taken out recently - many NATO officers killed while being introduced the Mr Kinzhal. Of course, Western sources deny that.

No real proof till now, possible indeed as in March 22, it already happened eventhough VVP denied it recently in the Chinese state paper 'Global Times', then repost on Tass.

Officialy no hypersonic missile has been used yet..I doubt it is true but...

Very interesting dissection of the events. I'm of the mind that there are many "mysteries" which have occurred in this conflict that we will not know the truth of for many years, if ever. But I agree, the story put out by the Ukies & the West on this incident (well...all of them, lol) is just...off kilter. If it were to be sabotage, I would find it odd for the Russians to broadcast that; unlike here in the US where we broadcast everything and usually kookify it too. Never let a good psyop opportunity go to waste.

Interestingly, the achievement of infiltrating and sabotaging or using SOF to blow up the cruiser is more impressive and damaging to Russian morale than a missile strike. The Ukrainians, slick as their media machine is, missed an opportunity on this one

On a side note - it was the AFU who pioneered publishing footage of drones dropping bombs on soldiers and vehicles. Or the videos of tanks being caught by NLAW or Javelin strikes. The Russians definitely took notes

Expand full comment

Rubbish...the footage of Ukr Mil killing Russian Military comes straight out of the US/Three letter agency playbook of footage of Alphabet Sunni Islamic Terrorist organisations killing Iraqs, Syrians & Libyans in HD format. It’s designed to strike terror into the hearts of the perceived enemies...ordinary Iraqis, Syrians, Libyans & Russian.

The use of NLAW is no different to the firing of an RPG-7

good point at calling out the bullshit on why hasn't Ukraine just sunk most of the black sea fleet if it was that simple, its what ive been asking for the past year when threads pop up on social media. You would think opening their ports would be a massive priority for them and NATO in a war setting, and yet they need deals just to get some grain out. Maybe once they take back Crimea in the coming Barbarossa ver.2 they can work on that.

A refreshing read. Last year I was a bit of a freak when I claimed that "both hypotheses can neither be confirmed nor disproved"; Neptune vs Sabotage. I assumed we needed a hole in the ship to confirm.

Add: reports on the material condition of the Moscow cruiser indicated more of a floating antique than a regularly maintained and modernized ship. In particular, the fire protection system was not modernized.

Add2: Test of Brahmos anti-ship missile (Indians), without warhead.https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/brahmos-supersonic-missile-creates-hole-in-indian-navy-s-abandoned-ship-101650444392218.html

Little known to most is that a 50' yacht crewed by four men and a woman - all with fake passports, but none of whom were British or US citizens - was seen in the area of the Moskva immediately prior to the explosions which wrecked her.
