FFS! The filthy evil foreign anti-White sandland cult of Christ IS NOT WHITE! It was forced upon the White races of Eastern Europe by the Sun worshipping Roman emperor Constantine around AD300 at the urging of his two top advisers - Both kikes.

As long as American credit card still functioning, then there is no point in worrying about what happens outside of the US border. The US citizen is one of the most brain washed and insulated population in the world. The time when US citizen go to the street to protest unjust war carried out by their government (albeit because their loves one was directly affected, not because they feel sympathy for the people whom there Government came to bomb to oblivion) is long gone. Now, the only thing most American care are sports and decadences, porn and LGBT+. Not a shred of decency left. How the mighty have fallen. I'm a Vietnamese, I grown up admiring the USA, used to doodling the US flag all over my notebook. But after learning the truth, I became abhor the USA (both the Government and the people), but then I feel sympathy for the American people.

"The US citizen is one of the most brain washed and insulated population in the world. "

As an American, I can confirm. It is beyond ignorant and pathetic here. In WW1, people could be thrown in prison for being against the war or talking about the 1918 influenza epidemic. Just ask Eugene Debs. It was called the Spanish Flu since despite it's likely US origins at a Kansas military base, the only reporting on it, because of censorship, came out of Spain, hence the appellation: Spanish Flu.

At the end of WW1, the racist former college president, Woody Wilson, sent US troops into Siberia to try to overthrow the new Bolshevik gov't. You know...the sanctity of borders, blah, blah and blah.

I concur. It is mind blowing here in the USA how blatantly ignorant MOST people are or anything....which includes just about everything. I'll offer this quote:

"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."

The Duran @ locals has made the point that with attrition warfare there is a prolonged period of high intensity, high casualty warfare; then a sudden catastrophic collapse of the defeated nation.

Unlike the Western goal of capturing and holding land, the Russian goal is for attrition of the enemy’s armies. Perhaps when the Russian Army is satisfied that the Ukraine Army has been sufficiently reduced they will drop the hammer and we will see a different phase of the war.

Below is an interesting flow map demonstrating the volume of casualties from Napoleon’s invasion of Russia. Perhaps a similar flow map could be applied to Ukraine casualties for the purpose of demonstrating the long term effects of this attrition warfare strategy and identify if there is a point of sudden collapse.

https://ageofrevolution.org/200-object/flow-map-of-napoleons-invasion-of-russia/

Expand full comment

I suspect Putin is waging attrition warfare until the collapse of Ukraine's fighting capability, at which point terms of surrender will be negotiated involving NATO countries such as Hungary, Romania, and Poland with the intent of peacefully partitioning the remainder of Ukraine among these states with the Russians taking all of Southern and Eastern Ukraine and the other states taking their traditional lands back. If anything is left of Ukraine after that, it will be completely neutered politically and militarily.

There's almost a capitalist's mind-set in the expectation of ever-accelerating territorial gains on the battlefield--like stakeholders & investors in the boardroom, examining the corp's quarterly statement & looking for continual gains--demanding even that the ever-growing gains compound on themselves.

Nonetheless, when Ugledar falls, that's gonna be massive: a hard-fought Big Ticket item

Expand full comment

You mean the fat cat oligarchs that run international corporations, right? Because the average capitalist isn't near that greedy. I see those people on financial shows. Not only the gains, but the rate of gain has to go up, continually. Which is mathematically impossible.

Expand full comment

You apply linear projection to what is happening. In reality, attrition equations are quadratic (look up Lanchester) and if you put in on a graph it's literal representation of "gradually then suddenly".

Expand full comment

And that is how wars end. Gradually and then suddenly. Everyone wants to know the moment of collapse - but there will only be tea leaves to read and people slapping their heads after the fact, feeling like they should have known. Bagration was not presumed to be the success it was, and neither were the Normandy landings. If you'd asked how long it would be from January, 1945, many would have answered far longer than the four months it was. The prediction game is based on data we don't have. The collapse could be tomorrow or two years from now.

Expand full comment

And not just on data. On people and individual happenings too minute to make into "data."

Some Russian Colonel out for glory who commands 1,000 men and 50 tanks and wants to make his reputation.

Some Ukrainian Mayor who rallies people to resist AND pleads with Moscow to spare their infrastructure.

Some little ripple of Ukrainians refusing to fight becoming a tidal wave.

Putin's death.

Zelensky overdose.

It's just too complex to quantify into a mathematical equation.

In our Civil War in the United States, 2,000 trained, German immigrants, recently booted out of Europe after their 1848, saved Missouri from going Confederate for a year until the Union could put together a few pieces. St. Louis, if just nominally Confederate, would have made the war months longer.

And these guys just took it on their own to train and stay ready. Only after were they inducted into the US Army. Idk why their commander wanted to fight in the barely populated American near West, but he did, LOL.

The population was so split recruiting along the "slave belt" of Missouri was slow.

To tell the truth, Ukraine never had the nuclear weapons. When Soviet Union collapsed, there were lots of nuclear weapons stored on Ukraine territory - true. But control (activation and launch code etc..) of those weapons were still in then hands of Moscow (Russia), and Ukraine used this to it's advantage and gained lots of benefits from both USA and Russia. Only after that Russia was able to move those nuclear weapons out of Ukraine to Russia.

1800 of them, I wonder if the got every single one back.

Expand full comment

"But control (activation and launch code etc..) of those weapons were still in then hands of Moscow (Russia)"

Those weapons were also in the physical possession of Russia. After the fall of the Union all of the bases on which nuclear weapons were deployed in other former soviet republics became part of Russia, islands of Russian territory within what had become foreign states.

All of the former soviet republics agreed the prior arrangement should continue, with Russia inheriting both the nuclear arsenal and the costs of it. They were also pushed into that by the US, which didn't want to suddenly have to deal with many new, totally corrupt states that had nuclear arsenals and no prior experience in nuclear stewardship.

It was generally a very smooth transition except for one case where Ukraine and Russia were horse trading over who got what share of various former Soviet assets and Ukraine threatened to "take" the nuclear warheads on Russian bases within Ukraine. Yeltsin consulted with his experts to find out how long it would take the Ukrainians to break the permissive action link codes if they managed to seize the warheads, and then he ordered the base commanders of those bases to shoot to kill and to hold out to the last man to prevent the Ukrainians from storming their bases.

To focus their minds on the task, Yeltsin also ordered that the moment any Ukrainian soldier crossed a nuclear base perimeter that a nuclear first strike on that base would destroy the base as well as every nuclear warhead on the base. He wasn't kidding around. He also was ready to nuke Kiev and the capital of any other state that tried to seize Russian nukes.

After the Ukrainians calmed down the Russian side came up with the idea of teaming up with Ukraine and going to the US to suggest that it would be safer to physically move all the warheads back into Russia, but that neither Russia nor any of the other former states had the money to do that safely, so maybe the US could chip in a few billion dollars to finance the move. The US was eager to do so and the Russians and Ukraine and other states split the money that was donated.

Expand full comment

Wild, so why would the US finance that? Would it be that Russia is more rational and stable than Ukraine's leadership at the time?

Expand full comment

The US had a successful experience with 50 years of Russian custody of the USSR's nukes - no World War III. They knew the players and the security systems, etc. , and the US felt that the only people who could continue safe custody of the many thousands of Russia's nukes were the same people who had safely done so for the preceding 50 years, the Russians.

Russia was also the only sovereign state coming out of the collapse of the USSR which had a real history and structure as a full stack government. That government was changing, but the base was solid and continuing with people in key governmental and military structures who had years of experience , who had long careers devoted to what they had built and who had motivations other than stealing everything they could touch. All the other new countries were making up their government structures as they went along, and nothing about them was predictable other than there would be a corrupt scramble to loot everything not nailed down while there was chaos and nobody really knew who owned what.

When it came to nukes, Russia's leadership was far and away more rational and stable (they had decades of learning how to be custodians of nukes) than the people who had come out of nowhere to seize power in the new countries.

The last thing the US wanted was a dozen new nuclear powers that were unpredictable, corrupt and totally uncontrolled with no past history of guarding nukes, especially at a time when the US was desperately worried about terrorists and minor powers buying "loose nukes" that became available after the fall of the USSR. The US felt it was a smart investment (and it was) to push US money and expertise into ensuring all the nukes stayed under Russian control, and then working with the Russians to ensure that maximum security was in place to protect the mountains of extra weapons grade plutonium Russia had as well as, of course, thousands of warheads in storage.

It was a shining moment in quiet, effective, US diplomacy and government action, the exact opposite of the totally incompetent, intellectually corrupt Swamp creatures at the helm today.

There is only one end, full capitulation of the Ukrainian state. That will probably not happen, at least not very soon I guess. And most of those asshats in the Ukrainian state are guilty of a lot of crimes if you ask me.

The biggest crime of them all, is to be that stupid to believe they could fight Russia. Before the war I've looked up all Russian and Ukrainian military assets, like tanks, soldiers, navy, fighter jets, etc. etc. Only a mentally challenged idiot, drunk with 3 bottles of vodka, could have thought they had a 1 to 100 chance.

Even chimpanzees understand the difference between 20 bananas vs 1 banana (tanks), 100 bananas vs 1 banana (fighter jets), 200 bananas vs 0 bananas (navy)...

Do you think Americans barely even understand where this is all taking place? Right next to Germany, a place they know at least a little of?

If Russia sticks with this and the US loses will they escalate so the established order in Europe, run by the US, doesn't change or suffer?

I can't imagine the war crazy people we have just completely losing and going home. Will Russia allow them to look like they are helping Poland "secure the remainder of Ukraine? Will Russia let US forces be on the ground there even at that time?

Ive tried to tell my family that what they were seeing in the US on TV wasn't accurate, a half million or more were dead, and that this all can't end well. But as usual they just shrug, lol.

"How many more graves will there be next year if we keep Ukraine from fighting back?”

Unquote:

When are the clerisy, the informed, the educated, the understanding, the commentators, the 'analysts' the 'alt media' going to start educating these people and the wider western audience into the truth?

It's not 'Ukraine' it's their Kiev (USA puppet) part of it.

And it's not a 'fighting back' that is in question. It is perpetuating its conquest of Donbas predicated on ethnic cleansing lines.

They are the aggressors and it is 'the others' who're 'fighting back'.

And I say again: 'they' are NOT Ukraine. 'They' are the Kiev regime.

Both sides of the civil war suffer because of the Kiev regime. Donbas by their design: to take the Donbas and clear its Russian ethnicity and Kiev side by prosecution of this intent in a way that has killed 500,000 people so far and done immense damage.

I find this a staggering omission. This lack of 'correction', lack of universal outcry at this untruth and misuse of the language and reason.

When such as Sullivan say 'Ukraine should be able to strike back' and NO ONE takes him up on it.

'Ukraine' is in the midst of a civil war ! 'Striking back' can only mean in that context striking against the civil war which effectively means 'striking back' at it's instigator, promoter and maintainer: the USA.

Everyone swallows this. It is the standard narrative. It is 1984 type 'new speak'.

Regarding that Chinese territory that was "stolen" by the Russians, there is a fascinating bit about how that went down in "Imperial Rivals" by SCM Paine. Apparently back when the Treaty of Aigun was signed, the Chinese did not have accurate maps of the region, but the Russians did. The Chinese were convinced to agree to the river as the border, not realizing how very far south it was.

Expand full comment

Far as I know, the China-Russia border was finally settled in 2006. There is a page (no doubt written by the CIA0 in Wikipedia about it:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/China%E2%80%93Russia_border

So if anyone at all brings the border up as a point of dispute, and tries to get China and Russia yelling at each other, they're full of complete nonsense. Not unusual these days for commentators to be completely ignorant of facts. They dream up BS in their tiny minds. And sure, there are likely a few knobs in both China and Russia who are just as ignorant and bring it up as well.

There must be hundreds, if not thousands, of Western news "readers" on the MSM radio, TV and Youtube. Without exception, they faithfully read the US State Dept narrative to their audiences. perhaps rewritten if they can afford it, most often not. None of these people have cracked a history book on Russia or Ukraine, not even on the the events since 2000. Too much bother to learn even what's in Wikipedia. Sometimes it's also worth reading official Russia sources, beyond all the Telegram stuff and vids and general blare and so on.

After submitting the above post, I was reading Tass, and ran across this article and comments statement by Maria Zakharova dated Sept 3, 2024:

"MOSCOW, September 3. /TASS/. Russia and China have officially confirmed the renunciation of any territorial claims between the two countries, and Moscow does not care about what some fringe politicians think about this, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

"What some fringe politicians obsessed with revanchism think about this, someone else can worry about, but we won’t," she pointed out, commenting on a remark by Lai Ching-te, head of the Taiwanese administration, that China should seize lands in the Far East from Russia. "In short, Lai, who is being pushed towards separatism by the Americans, can say whatever he likes but it will do no good for him or Taiwanese residents," Zakharova added.

Meanwhile, the Russian diplomat stressed that "the mutual renunciation of territorial claims by Moscow and Beijing had been enshrined in the July 16, 2001, Treaty of Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, with Moscow and Beijing putting border issues to bed once and for all by signing the Additional Agreement on the Eastern part of the Russia-China Border on October 14, 2004, and ratifying the document later." "This position was confirmed in a number of other joint documents that China and Russia adopted at various levels, including at the highest one," the diplomat went on to say. "Russia has consistently respected the One China principle, and views the Chinese government as the country’s only legitimate government." That said, "the Taiwanese administration head is in no position to make statements on behalf of Beijing," and Taipei could only be recommended "not to overestimate itself when eyeing something that belongs to someone else," Zakharova noted.

According to her, Lai should "pay more attention to the island’s economic issues and demonstrate a constructive approach to the Chinese leadership’s proposal of a peaceful reunification with mainland China." "We are confident that our friends in Beijing share the same position," the diplomat concluded.

So, the neocons can all go dance on the head of a pin, so far as I'm concerned. Funnily enough, it even makes the Wikipedia entry I linked to above appear correct. Will wonders never cease?

Fantastic update. Thank you Simplicius. I have seen many, many hours of combat footage since the start of the SMO and as former US military have marveled at the quantity and quality available near real time. Can't help but review with a professional eye. There are a sizeable new set of military problems at the tactical and operational level due to emerging technology and the half-life of measure to countermeasure often seems to be only a matter of weeks. This rapid evolution demands an agile organization in the field, but for that to be possible, that force will have to have reach-back all the way to the national political, financial and industrial base, which in-turn, will have to be more responsive than has ever been required in past conflicts. Makes my head hurt to think about it. At least until the financial underpinning that supports the exponential cost begins to give way. I can imagine a scenario where the side who goes bankrupt first, loses.

Expand full comment

Yes, but as the demand’s upon the industrial base of Western Nations increases; the manufacturing capacity of Western nations seem to be at the lowest capacity since the begging of the Industrial Revolution.

The ruling class of Western Nations seem to have been very myopic with their deindustrialization strategies prior to entering into a proxy war against nations that have retained the ability to rapidly expand industrial manufacturing.

From the perspective of the working class in the US, their standard of living has fallen dramatically because of the policies of the culturally disconnected leaders (from both political parties).

Perhaps bankruptcy would benefit the working class if it resulted in the abolishment of the Federal Reserve that enriches a parasitic banking class that benefits from printing money and obscenely low interest rates for the politically connected, but crushing for the working class and poor. I suspect that a local credit union that acquires money to lend from paying fair interest for bank accounts of local citizens, would have a sounder financial policy that what we now have.

Of course the next election will be a disaster because of election result engineering. Likewise much of the violence prior to the last election was not only allowed, but encouraged by government provocateurs. What we witnessed prior to and our last Presidential Election in many respects appeared to be a domestic Color Revolution. Ultimately our nation would be served well by defunding and abolishing all of the Federal agencies not authorized by the US Constitution.

https://freedomlibrary.hillsdale.edu/programs/national-leadership-seminar-irving-texas/the-corruption-of-the-fbi

Many citizens are also learning to appreciate the wisdom of the Antifederalists who at the nations formation warned against the risks of a large standing peacetime Federal Army. Our enemies are domestic and as the empire collapses the need will be for local civil policing rather than foreign adventures.

Expand full comment

The people will demand the Big Gubmint to do something as life becomes more difficult and the Federal Reserve will oblige them.

Big Gubmint can't go bankrupt. And that's is a problem.

Local credit unions have the same problems as regional banks; treasuries as assets. A partial solution is more local banks that aren't tied to the Fed. The States can make it happen.

Yes, we can pretty much abolish about 2/3rds or more of our military and other than local economies noticing a standard of living increase no one will notice.

Expand full comment

I wish you and yours the best of luck. Yes, your country has been systematically dismantled from within, like all other Western countries.

Truth. Many years ago now, the best unit in the US Army, on the training battlefield anyway, was the 11th ACR, the OPFOR at the National Training Center. Although their organization and operation was based loosely on Soviet doctrine they actually fought the way the US claimed to, with decision-making after crossing the line of departure pushed to the lowest possible level; down to the squad or combat platform commander. This idea in practice, against a BLUEFOR brigade allowed them to flow around them like water. Of 48 or so “battles” I witnessed as an observer, I only saw them lose to the training unit once. BLUFOR would routinely accuse the OPFOR of cheating due to the lopsided results, but… The Russians have the same look and feel in the SMO.
