Congratulations to Simpiticus for being mentioned by Alexander Mercouris last night on his 300,000-subscriber show. I commented "Simplicius rocks". lol Accurate reporting and sound analysis of the Ukraine conflict are in huge demand. Simplicius is in good company with Mercouris.

>First the US apparently wants Ukraine to demonstrate a tangible plan for how it would utilize these ‘deep strikes’ to actually win, rather than merely using them for some vague psychological effect.

This is ridiculous "analysis", especially given the previous paragraph:

>But first let’s clear up the nuances to this report. Some believe the decision has already been made and the media is merely trotting out its regular theater to warm up the public. But the other missed detail is two-fold:

The "decision" was made some time in the 1990s when the whole plan was first carefully laid out. They have been working up to this moment all this time, and that was the whole purpose of the Ukrainian exercise -- to cook the Russian frog sufficiently to the point where it would allow missiles strikes into Russia.

The next step has also been planned -- start with a few missiles first, then gradually increase the size of the salvos, and eventually one day swap the conventional warheads for nukes (by that point Russian defenses will have been accustomed to not seeing these as launch-on-warning threats, as they absolutely should be; and also likely degraded by direct missile strikes too), and do a first-strike decapitation.

Thus it is just retarded to talk about Ukraine "demonstrating that it has a plan". Zelensky has no role whatsoever in this, it is a US plan dating back decades.

To make this seem as if Ukraine has agency on this matter... I don't know what to say.

I am increasingly getting the suspicion that a lot of the "alternative" voices on the topic of the war are CIA plants whose role is to sleepwalk everyone who might be in opposition into not protesting too vigorously over what is happening.

This is the only way I can make sense of the consistent downplaying of existential dangers.

It's either that, or serious intellectual deficiencies...
