'Science', hmmm, is that the thing that brought us penicillin? Spectacles, insulin, paracetamol, the aeroplane, the telly, "A Day in the Life"....?

Science is divided up into the operational, practical kind, that creates the things you mention, and the abstract theory-generating kind.

It is this latter which has never told the truth about who we are, and where we come from.

Science never brought us penicillin anyway - nature, ie God, did that.

Fleming just noticed what was going on, and isolated it.

Ditto with insulin.

I was reading a report on paracetamol only yesterday - turns out you should never give it to children, it damages their brains through reducing to zero the body's master antioxidant, glutathione.

Mostly science does what turns a profit, not what's good for us.

Aeroplanes?

Scientists?

Not unless you think Wilbur and Orville were scientists.

They weren't, they were engineers.

Engines babe, I'll let you get on with your superstitious mumbo-jumbo. You can have the last word though.

The last word is that you have no logical or scientific support whatsoever for any of your atheistic beliefs.

I, contrariwise, have offered hard support for my theistic, and specifically Christian, ones.
