As a person who has war gamed when shit goes bad (like financial/societal collapse) I am of the mindset now that they would just nuke the place and go to ground. Ground/ship launched, and ideal for hiding in dense jungles and caves in the Andes and the Guiana shield.
However, there are several problems here
1) Range. Venezuela is likely too far from the US mainland for those missiles. It's almost 2000 km to Miami, and that's from the very northwest corner of Venezuela. That's certainly beyond the Onyx range, for Zircon we don't have reliable data, but quite likely it is too far.
You can only sink the ships in the Caribbean, and maybe hit Puerto Rico, but Puerto Rico is just occupied US territory that nobody cares about, so that won't make all that much of a difference. Venezuela needs something to hit Mar-a-Lago with. Shaheds/Gerans can do that but those will have hard time getting there -- the US has enough jets to shoot them down and will have plenty of time, as they will take 6-7 hours to reach.
You need IRBMs, i.e. Oreshniks, to reach deeper, and to reach reliably. But that leads to:

That's not clear. Venezuela does not have remotely enough of a military to wound significantly the task force the US has assembled. It will be the classic US "shock and awe" attack (meaning... bombing civilians) using air assets.
It also doesn't look like Russia has any significant involvement in helping Venezuela fight off such a US attack. As far as I know, there have been no last-minute shipments of Russian S-400 or S-500 (what you really want to down US stealth bombers) air defense systems to Venezuela. No long-range carrier-killing missiles have been sent either.
Add to that, the Bolivarian revolution in Venezuela does not have anywhere near the steel that either Cuba or the Sandinistas had against the US, and neither of those came anywhere near the steely determination of the Vietnamese in defeating the US.

The "drone threat" certainly requires a rethinking of approaches to protecting a wide range of assets.
Take the Strategic Missile Forces, for example. A direct attack by a special forces group on a positional area with the goal of reaching the silos is suicide; the perimeter is guarded, the positions are defended by people equally skilled as special forces, and such an attack is more likely to trigger a sharp increase in combat readiness, and possibly a nuclear strike, than to produce any results.
However, a group or several armed with drones could cause serious harm, including in the event of an already-started war, including, for example, attempts to hit missiles with "wait-and-see" drones in the short period—a matter of seconds—between the silo doors opening and the moment they reach sufficient altitude and speed. Heavier drones can be used to place directional charges directly on the silo doors, at the very least jamming them.
Countermeasures, of course, exist in abundance, but not all of them are effective against slow, low-altitude targets. And catching a group within drone flight range of the attacked position is much more difficult than those attempting to directly breach the perimeter. This is especially true when there are multiple such groups.
This threat also applies to mobile systems, both at deployment points and when deployed "in the field": every division/regiment will have chokepoints in the form of bridges and intersections that cannot be avoided during dispersal.
Serious preparations are needed to counter these threats. Don't assume that the enemy (and not the Ukrainians) isn't trying to find applications for new forms and methods of armed conflict, including in a classic nuclear standoff.

Ground/ship launched, and ideal for hiding in dense jungles and caves in the Andes and the Guiana shield.
However, there are several problems here
1) Range. Venezuela is likely too far from the US mainland for those missiles. It's almost 2000 km to Miami, and that's from the very northwest corner of Venezuela. That's certainly beyond the Onyx range, for Zircon we don't have reliable data, but quite likely it is too far.
You can only sink the ships in the Caribbean, and maybe hit Puerto Rico, but Puerto Rico is just occupied US territory that nobody cares about, so that won't make all that much of a difference. Venezuela needs something to hit Mar-a-Lago with. Shaheds/Gerans can do that but those will have hard time getting there -- the US has enough jets to shoot them down and will have plenty of time, as they will take 6-7 hours to reach.
You need IRBMs, i.e. Oreshniks, to reach deeper, and to reach reliably. But that leads to:
2) The game has changed. Back in 1962 it was enough to just put the missiles in Cuba and the US removed theirs from Turkey and some kind of equilibrium was established.

That's not clear. Venezuela does not have remotely enough of a military to wound significantly the task force the US has assembled. It will be the classic US "shock and awe" attack (meaning... bombing civilians) using air assets.
It also doesn't look like Russia has any significant involvement in helping Venezuela fight off such a US attack. As far as I know, there have been no last-minute shipments of Russian S-400 or S-500 (what you really want to down US stealth bombers) air defense systems to Venezuela. No long-range carrier-killing missiles have been sent either.
Add to that, the Bolivarian revolution in Venezuela does not have anywhere near the steel that either Cuba or the Sandinistas had against the US, and neither of those came anywhere near the steely determination of the Vietnamese in defeating the US.
Sad to say, if the US attacks Venezuela I think it will look like US attacks on Iran and the opening attack on Iraq - a one sided operation.
