Paid Subscriber Weekly Mailbag Questions - 3/15/23
A new installment of your questions, which will be answered this weekend.
Hello, all. After seeing the poll results for how often you want to see these mailbags—the ‘weekly’ choice just eked out a victory. So we’re back with a now-weekly installment of the paid/pledged subscriber questions mailbag. Here’s your chance to ask something that will be answered in more ‘long form’ and carefully considered fashion by this weekend, as a service to you all highly-valued paid pledgers. And remember, I value you free subscribers as well, but this is just done as one weekly perk for the paid folks, as the rest of the content remains free.
I’ll let the questions accumulate for a couple days to make sure everyone gets time to see the post and formulate their questions. If you’ve asked one in last week’s edition then feel free to ask anew, as there’s no monthly limit.
Schedule will be: Tomorrow (Thursday) a new SITREP, Friday maybe a new article, and Saturday or Sunday the Mailbag answers.
Have at it!
First of all, thank you for your very informative contributions, which help me a lot in these turbulent times not to lose the compass. One question that concerns me and probably others here is:
What do you think is the likelihood of NATO slowly becoming actively involved in the fighting after the AFU's military successes have failed to materialize and the supply of cannon fodder has been depleted?
And another question I ask myself:
The RF President in his last address to the nation specifically referred to the problem of some Russian businessmen preferring to squander their wealth abroad rather than use it to transform their country, for which so many of their ancestors laid down their lives, into a modern country. This shows that there are forces in the RF that are more likely to move westward and are certainly just waiting to use their western contacts to topple the government, or rather its president, from the throne. How high do you think this probability is?
Are US active military already embedded? Prob. a mix of Spec. Forces, CIA paramilitary, Delta,
senior enlisted heavy weapons advisors, O-5/6/7/8's as rear guard advisors and planners plus the everyday thrill seeking mercenaries. Not to omit mention of balloon and UFO watchers.
