Obviously you are not genuinely west European because they face much more solid priorities than taking some glee in watching Moscow under fire

Adrian's avatar

So if they are not afraid of Russia, why are they not doing any of the things you mentioned? Why have they continuously stated they are not party to the war? Why refuse to send troops? Do you conveniently forget that Russia can do the exact same things to the West?

The fact is, they are SCARED TO DEATH of Russia, which is why they will not push too hard. They're just bullies who are used to beating up poor brown people.

There is NO military solution against Russia.

NiggleS's avatar

The West can do no such things, because it would have already done so if it could.

No-one, not even in the West, sees Putin as begging for peace.

It is the West that has begged Russia to stop, for months now.

Ukraine threatens Russia's oil industry with drone attacks as well as those of its own allies. Zelensky's desperation makes him reckless.

From NO1's article, "Zelensky has now explicitly threatened Hungary, making a pun on the Russian word 'Druzhba' (friendship): 'We have always supported friendship between Ukraine and Hungary, and now the existence of this 'Friendship' depends on Hungary." The Ukrainian president was reportedly giggling as he made this threat, openly acknowledging his country's role in attacking the pipeline that provides Hungary with crucial energy supplies.

Meanwhile, Russia appears to be stepping up its targeting of Ukrainian leaders with assassination hit teams.

"Meanwhile, Russia appears to be stepping up its targeting of Ukrainian leaders with assassination hit teams."

There are suspicions that this hit was more likely the result of intra-party political rivals taking him out. Russia is not known for assassinations, except in the eyes of its enemies who often use this proposition as cover for their own actions.

Denis's avatar

We don't know for sure. That's why I used the word, appears.

But again, all of this might also suggest he's long been a prime target for assassination by Russian intelligence. This remains a likely scenario, but for now no motives for the killing have been released by Ukrainian authorities, and there is only speculation and rumor at this point.

Throughout the war there's been tit-for-tat assassinations of prominent figures, with most of them of late being against Russian figures and on Russian soil. Russia’s Interior Ministry back in 2023 had officially placed Parubiy on its wanted list, accusing him of war crimes in Donbass, and charged him in absentia.

Victor's avatar

Just because Russia puts someone on it list for prosecution does not at all imply an assassination. And this idea of tit-for-tat business is complete fiction on the part of Western intelligence and media (same as intelligence) sources.

Russia is not in the business of political assassinations - full stop.

Denis's avatar

lol, Victor. Every country has assassination teams. You just don't hear about it.

Marledonna's avatar

I would have such teams for sure. As I said before: the judicial system is for the plebs, not for the likes of Killary, Nuland, Fondoflying, Bolton (stepped on too many toes), Bush, Angleton (dead), Albright (in hell), Nethanyahu and his clan. I would then call it judgement day (Schwarzenegger)😀

A pipe dream.

Now to reality or how it looks like: what is the benefit for the Russians to kill the guy now? And why so openly? The russians either use novichok (I bought the book of John Helmer) or throw people out of the window. That is how we have always been told (propagandized) in the west. Openly assasinate someone during daytime is therefore not their modus operandi, that’s more our thing and we do it bigger, better and more beautiful.

The question remains: what will Russia gain?

Victor's avatar

The Putin-led Russian government goes strictly by the law - they don't need assassinations. I don't say they never assassinate, but that is not their modus operandi as is the case for the Jewish-led countries of israel, USA, UK, and Ukraine which all derive their philosophy on this issue from the influence of traditional Jewish values.

arthur brogard's avatar

please, a spoiler - so what does JH reveal in his book? Reading all his Dances with Bears writings about the thing I've got the impression its all fake and Russia never did it doesn't do it.

Now you seem to suggest the contrary?

The far-right group White Phoenix announced involvement in the murder of Parubiy

Text: Vera Basilaia

The Ukrainian branch of the American far-right group The Base White Phoenix (banned in Russia) published a statement about involvement in the murder of the former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, calling him a traitor.

The Ukrainian branch of the American far-right group The Base White Phoenix, banned in Russia, issued a statement of its support for the murder of Andriy Parubiy, reports "Gazeta. Ru».

In their appeal, representatives of the group declared their support in the "elimination of the traitor and desecrator of the Ukrainian nation."

Earlier, the former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada and the former head of the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Parubiy was liquidated in Lviv.

The killer who shot Parubiy was dressed in the uniform of a delivery service employee.

Parubiy's associates stated that he was killed for his ability to organize Maidans.

Experts linked the murder of Parubiy with the conflict within the Ukrainian elite.

Archie1954's avatar

Well we know the US does at least!

Angelina's avatar

Krasikov probably was, killing the Georgian guy who ran over the heads of Russian POWs, and whom Putin exchanged for Americans and personally greeted at the airport upon return.

Wasn't Putin saying in response to terror attackers, "if we find you sitting on the john, we'll kill you there," or saying, "judging terrorists is God's job, sending them to Him - my job?"

GM's avatar

>Russia is not in the business of political assassinations - full stop.

Too bad for them their enemies are in that business.

HandleIt's avatar

Are you American GM? I am and For me is frustrating as hell to watch Putin execute this war. But some think it's the cleverest thing in the world draining NATO stocks so they really can't get in the fight even if they wanted to having like two weeks of ammo on hand, other than going full blown nuclear war. No right answer really.

GM's avatar

They are so clever they don't understand that the kind of ammo stocks they are thinking of will have very little relevance to a Russia-NATO war.

Because that war will be of a very different nature, fought with an entirely different set of weapons.

Which is why the ammo stocks are so low in the first place.

And with respect to that war the strikes on Russian radars and S-400 systems in Crimea, the fact that Russian air defense has been pushed back 100-150 km from the Ukrainian border by HIMARS strikes, the fact that Finland is now in NATO and the US is busy staging forces there, and the fact that nothing to match all that is happening in the other direction, are all extremely relevant and extremely not in Russia's favor.

Feral Finster's avatar

Since germany is expanding port infrastructure for more weapons deliveries, the idea that NATO is out of stocks is just more wishful thinking.

Kennewick Man's avatar

'No right answer really.'

That is exactly the point. Maybe US/NATO was the original marked victim of this war from day one? Recall that Sleepy Joe said on numerous occasions draining Russian resources and killing Russians was the main goal of the conflict, a worthy investment. Indications are that America is being beaten at his own game. I have written here on Substack right after February of 2022: This war can end either with a Russian victory or a nuclear war. And I see no reason to change my opinion today, 3.5 years later.

>Russia is not known for assassinations, except in the eyes of its enemies who often use this proposition as cover for their own actions.

Which is a huge problem because that gives the monsters in the West carte blanche to do whatever they want.

Zelensky should have been taken out very early in the SMO.

You issue an ultimatum -- for every civilian killed by deliberate shelling in Donetsk, we will be taking out members of the Ukrainian oligarchy and ruling elite. Zelensky wouldn't be top of the list, but somewhere high.

They then proceed with the terror bombing, you start taking them out, eventually you either get to Zelensky, or deterrence is established.

Had that been done from the start, none of what happened after that would have happened. Which, let's remind people proceeded as:

1) Terror bombing of the Donbass. Since 2014, intensified after 2022. No reaction from the Kremlin

2) Artillery shelling across the pre-war border. Since the goodwill gestures around April 1 2022 which made the pre-war border the new frontline. Thousands maimed and killed Russian civilians. No reaction from the Kremlin

3) Small drone attacks into the new regions and across the old border. Since mid-2022 or so. Again zero reaction

4) Heavy drone attacks on Crimea. Summer of 2022. No reaction once again.

5) HIMARS strikes on the new regions, i.e. direct US war on Russia. No reaction.

6) Heady drone attacks into pre-war Russian territory. Initially it was old Tu-141 drones. But it was multiple attacks on the strategic aviation in December 2022. In retrospect that was just testing the Kremlin's resolve and reaction. Which were, of course, once again found lacking, so then they ramped the attacks up.

7) Western cruise and ballistic missile strikes on Crimea and the new regions. Mid-2023. This after very public statements from Shoigu and others how this means direct war. No reaction, even after the BSF HQ was blown up and a number of ships sunk.

8) Heavy drones hitting refineries and other infrastructure hundreds and then thousands of kilometers deep into Russia. Early 2024. No reaction to that either. As a result a triple digit such drones are flying into Russia every day, and no matter how good Russian AD is, something is getting blown up daily.

9) HIMARS strikes into pre-war Russia, including in support of a large-scale ground invasion. Summer of 2024. Hundreds killed, soldiers and civilians. No reaction.

10) Heavy cruise and ballistic missiles into pre-war Russia. Late 2024. No reaction to that either, though it has largely stopped since the beginning of 2025. But now it will resume, and in a ramped up format. Because why not?

11) Direct NATO attack on the whole strategic aviation leg of the nuclear triad on June 1st 2025. No reaction to that either.

We leave aside the several tactical nukes that Russia ate at its military bases, because most people are not ready to accept that it happened, we just focus on what there is zero doubt about.

This is what happens when you do not cut off escalation with disproportionate brutal force at the very beginning of the sequence.

Also, Trump should have been killed in a joint Russian/Chinese operation within a week of June 12 2025, together with Vance, the Pentagon leadership, and a bunch of the most warmongering high ranking senators, and, of course, all of Israel's leadership. For which the Kremlin and Beijing should have taken immediate and public credit, stating clearly that targeting other countries' leadership is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated, they are doing this to enforce certain red lines that should never have been crossed, and they consider the matter settled if there is no response and no further such transgressions, but if there is, they are ready to take this all the way, because that is where things are headed anyway if nobody stops the madmen in the West.

But they didn't do it, so now their own leadership and countries are on the menu.

litoralis's avatar

i thought Putin pushed back on proposals 2 assassinate zelensky on the basis hes just a puppet so not a strategic target.

his own nazi leadership have threatened 2 kill him if he accepts a ceasefire that cedes territory. why would putin bother when hes so unpopular and losing the war as well. easier 2 bide his time and let europe go broke trying 2 takeover russia

Doesn't matter if it's Zelensky who runs things or someone else.

You go after whoever runs things in order to make them stop.

Joseph Moffa's avatar

The neo-Nazis in Ukraine will get rid of Zelensky when they have no more use for him.

GM's avatar

Why have the neo-Nazis not been targeted either?

Kennewick Man's avatar

Under Zelensky's leadership Ukraine has arrived to continuous, irreplaceable human losses and occasional theatrical operations. If Putin kills him he can easily end up with a more talented military leader as an opponent.

Napoleon comes back here again: ‘Never interrupt an enemy while he is making a mistake.’

Chris Collier's avatar

Interesting that you claim Trump, Vance, the Pentagon leadership, and a bunch of the most warmongering high ranking senators, and, of course, all of Israel's leadership should be killed to clearly state that targeting other countries' leadership is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

I get the impression that you'll only be satisfied when Russia starts throwing nuclear missiles around Europe. Which would doubtlessly lead to nuclear war and the destruction of most of the earth. I imagine you might answer this with the west will just accept a few nukes on Berlin, Paris, or London without reciprocative nukes on Moscow and the rest of Russia. I don't think that will happen and it is a hell of a thing to gamble with. I think President Putin and his leaders are doing everything they can to not start a nuclear World War 3. While western leaders seem to have no fear of nuclear war. It's almost like you're on the same side as them.

But who knows what side/entity you're working for or if you're just doing this all on your own.

GM's avatar

>I imagine you might answer this with the west will just accept a few nukes on Berlin, Paris, or London without reciprocative nukes on Moscow and the rest of Russia.

On Berlin yes, on Paris and London no, but only France and the UK have not been disarmed.

If they have been disarmed by properly executed operations by Russian attack submarines, the VKS and the SMF, then they can be nuked too.

The fundamental principle is that no nuclear state will go beyond covert smallish and limited in scale tactical nuclear strikes with plausible deniability against another nuclear state in defense of anyone else but itself.

Thus Russia can safely erase the whole NATO except the three nuclear members and it can solve its problem that way.

That has always been true. In fact during the Cold War the US plan for war in Europe was that if the Warsaw Pact broke through the Fulda Gap and was about to take over West Germany, the US would have strategically nuked West Germany. Not the USSR. This in order to deny the Russians the spoils and because they were never going to sacrifice the US mainland in defense of something that was already lost anyway.

Russia has formidable tracking and tracking dogs in the SVR. Its predecessor, the KGB, was recognized as the equal of the Mossaf, if not better.

GM's avatar

The KGB is not the predecessor of the SVR and the FSB.

The KGB was destroyed and those organizations were founded as new ones.

The SBU in Ukraine, on the other hand, is the old KGB, but flipped to work for the enemy.

And it shows in the results they are achieving.

Archie1954's avatar

Organizations like the KGB are only as good and professional as their agents. Renewing the agency must still use the agents who were available at the time.

E H's avatar

Although the SBU is the Ukrainian version of the KGB, Internal Division, the SVR is the successor to the KGB, External Division. The FSB is the successor to the KGB's Internal Division. FSB=FBI, SVR=CIA. The current SBU is more akin to the STASI, the GESTAPO.

It seems Zelensky is realizing that breaking the will of the Slovak/Hungarian governments is an uphill battle. These two countries will block his efforts to join the EU but I would not be surprised if Poland and Romania would join in. Ursula and Gang are already playing with the idea of changing the rules and deny veto rights for individual nations. This step just might dig a grave for the EU as many would not want to deal with a black hole that can drag them into any disturbed policies by a few dominant members like Germany/UK/France. The present lesson by the Ukraine war is a substantial warning already.

Jesterus The Catificator's avatar

UK and France are starting to have really serious problems of financial nature and are more likely to drag the EU down than achieving anything else. Especially because Germany is no longer there to back the inevitable bailouts.

The fiscal defecation is starting to hit the economic ventilation.

And another round of government collapse is on the way in France, likely to end with Microleon ruling through decrees.

Kennewick Man's avatar

Correct, the UK is not a member of the EU. However, this does not stop the UK from being a gravedigger for Europe. The optimal foreign policy for the UK in this conflict would be a self-segregation from the Ukraine conflict and I see something very different.

Jesterus The Catificator's avatar

At least they're not behaving as if they were going to war.

One thing about debt to GDP ratios: they're not that important. Because GDP is not paying the debt. Government revenue is. The correct metric should be debt to government revenue ratio. And that's catastrophic.

Rex's avatar

You seem to be pretty breezy and dismissive of a potential hit on the Kremlin. PR does matter beyond a point, and Russia could help having a few PR wins of its own, the kind that the Western press cannot play down or deny.

Ciel's avatar

Based on what I've seen from Western press, if the PR win for any opponent is too great, they simply don't report it.

Jullianne's avatar

Russia can never achieve PR wins in the west. What you get is a lot of blathering about the killing of the innocent with no one even asking whether a hit on a residential block was a Russian strike or a case of friendly misfire. And you will never be told the real targets. Russia does not care that you do not know, because the western decision makers know and suffer the real damage, and that is all that matters. The mindless western masses who could never fight any sort of real war themselves are an irrelevance to both sides. In europe they are about to be hit with mega taxes to pay for this absurd conflict, and there is not a flicker of protest- not about funding the war. Still, European leaders have not tried yet to conscript them. That would be a different story.

So Russia does not do PR. What it is doing is taking out stuff and personnel you do not even hear about in the west. And it is doing that to vastly greater effect now than it was before. In the end truths on the ground will overcome all this noise.

Kennewick Man's avatar

I think the supposed 'civilian targets' in Ukraine are often military/government employees using apartment buildings and houses. If there was a Russian policy to go after civilians Dresden style we would see lot larger numbers of people killed.

Feral Finster's avatar

Hell, look at Gaza. But nobody of influence and authority in the West cares.

Roman's avatar

Europeans catch much flak over a lack of protesting, but Americans are hardly different. Real war protesting is non-existent here. The only two points that move the needle are "US boots on the ground" and taxpayer dollars, yet State propaganda continues to gaslight most people to accept the second so long as the government stays true to the first.

It was worse during the Obama years, where a peacemaker came to power but money and US troops didn't come home. An entire industry of liberal democrat war protesting shut down. And Americans on both sides rolled over. One side had no power, while the other didn't dare turn on their president and their populist movement, in a bid to move their agenda. This is replaying with Trump.

Excellent comment. Very perceptive of the previous and current situation. The Don actually ended our part in the Ukraine War the first day of his second term by cutting off the aid and then restarted it. It's like he teased the peace movement elements of MAGA and dangled peace in front of us like a carrot in order to keep us moving his direction. He's a traitor to the Democratic Party which is why they hate him and we loved him but he listens to the Neocons who are also traitors to the Democrats. The Neocons are traitors again since they have betrayed the Republican Party's preference for peace and The Don joined them. I know it wasn't for money, I don't know why as yet but I will deduce the reason one day. I always do.*

Donald John Trump betrayed the movement which was never really his in the first place, he was just our rally point holding the flag of peace and prosperity which is what the people of America want but never seem to get. We get betrayal and the back of the hand as our masters in Washington continue to fleece us with inflation and war, always war to distract the simple fools trying raise their families and please their numberless bosses.

We are required by our desires to continue supporting whichever candidate the Republicans put forward as the party professes to be pro-life (it lies) and pro-business but only serves the corporate heads who fork over the big money. The current administration returned the border situation in the south to normal that is true but the northern is still wide open and the Coast Guard cannot be everywhere. The saying is that the Republicans always snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory and I must say it seems to be true. Once MAGA wakes up to the situation it may disband just like the Tea Party and the presidential trophy will pass back to the even worse Democrats.

God Bless Us All

*(Later Edit) The Don is torn between his Demonrat roots and the populist movement he inspired. MAGA is not Republican, it has taken over the Republican Party. The parallels with Theodore Roosevelt who made the mistake of founding a new party are obvious. As the psychologists say, The Don's conflicted. The Japanese say nostalgia is a force in the human psyche and in events. This is why the traitorous Neocons are able to manipulate him and keep the war in Ukraine alive with fresh shipments of munitions, funds and intelligence on behalf of the hungering hopeful UK and EU. God Bless

Not so sure about Russia not doing PR. In fact they have done quite a lot, but rather selectively and generally avoiding the useless legacy MSM.

First, they have been supporting independent journalists and commentators consistently - the likes of Scott Ritter, Larry Johnson, Jeffrey Sachs, John Mersheimer, Alexander Merkouris et al., taking them to Russia to participate in conferences, having them take and give interviews etc.

And of course there was the Putin interview with Tucker.

More recently, Lavrov even went as far as appearing on Meet the Press (I loved his joke at the beginning of the interview "and this is "Meet the Russian Diplomat"").

And last, you can be pretty sure that Simplicius is given access to a lot of good stuff by our friends in Moscow for the enlightenment of the select few....

Rex's avatar

Oh I don't discount non mainstream sources, it's why I'm a paid subscriber here in the first place :)

It's just extremely frustrating to see the ostrich like attitude people around me have, with the same tired narratives of heroic Ukrainians vs incompetent Russians, or Putin is the new Hitler etc. My comment was more a wish that Russia would be able to shock the complacency out of the West without going nuclear.

abcdefg's avatar

I doubt the Russians consider influencing the ostrich-like Europeans to be worth the effort. Going up against entrenched influence networks the Empire has built over the decades is a massive undertaking. The US is underpinned by PR, Russian underpinnings seem to be totally different.

Archie1954's avatar

Maybe the Russians are underpinned by true patriotism.

arthur brogard's avatar

I am of the same opinion. It's part of what I mean when I rail against Russia's pathetic PR campaign. Or, rather, 'none existent' campaign.

Feral Finster's avatar

Russia tries to do P.R.. But they have little soft power to trade on and are not very good at P.R..

arthur brogard's avatar

Russia has as many fine minds and maybe more as any other population in the world. They could do excellent PR. They simply are not trying. At any level.

I don't know why. I begin to learn there is a deep feeling of alienation from the west within Russia and it gets deeper.

Perhaps that's it.

Feral Finster's avatar

Intelligence has nothing to do with it. Nor does lack of effort on Russia's part. They try, but the fail. Western P.R. succeeds, because the West has soft power.

A degree from Stanford opens doors worldwide, even if the holder is a legacy who only got in because he was good at tennis. Even the best degree from Moscow State University does nothing comparable.

Minigarchs from Karachi to Buenos Ares buy western trophy properties, they want the prestige of being able to claim a London or Miami address for their own. St.P.? Not so much.

Scholars compete for plaudits from western cultural institutions, if a painting by a given artist is hung at the MoMa, that raises the value of every other painting by that artist. A painting in the Tretyakovskaya, even if displayed prominently, doesn't have any comparable sort of effect.

Western news institutions are heeded worldwide. Chinese or Russian news are assumed to be propaganda.

You get the idea.

John Osman's avatar

I think Russian is very interested in what the Russian public thinks about the war; interested in what her allies think; mildly interested in what the Global South thinks; and completely disinterested in anything the West has to say or do.

arthur brogard's avatar

And that's a ridiculous flaw. For the easiest way for Russia to triumph in its protection of the rights of the ukrainian minority in Donbas and exposure of the persistent filthy machinations of the west and complicity of the world's entrenched oligarchies would be to address the Western people - for they currently have no one talking to them at all. No one.

They are harangued and cajoled, propagandised, deceived, duped on all sides and have been for decades to where today they are ostriches burying their heads in the sand to shut out the clamour.

Expressing disinterest.

But deeply saddened and lost inside, wondering what the hell is going on as they see their own nations and even the whole world going straight to hell.

No one telling them the straight facts, objectively, disinterestedly.

No one speaking to them from humanitarian and love of truth motives.

They want someone they can trust. They want to hear truths and find them indisputable, capable of passing any test, any investigation.

So they hunger to listen to such as Carlson, et al, who appear to be exposing truths to them.

But it is a different show every week.

And there is no residual site on which you can pore over the documentation, the facts and the figures, the proof.

It's ephemeral. It's incomplete. It's unsustained.

It is motivated by, predicated on, Carlson, etc., their need to make a living. Profit is the motive.

The people want a venue, a source, which has truth as the motive. Clarity, truth and a love of humanity.

Russia could provide this.

Any nation could, in theory, being collections of people with all the abilities inherent in that.

Most difficult in deeply corrupted nations like america.

Most easily, I would hope, in nations currently deeply committed to preserving humanitarian values, principles and the rights of its people Places like Yemen and Russia. Perhaps even Yemen before Russia.

Or Gaza, if it had a coherent leadership.

It is noticeable that none of these nations nor any other offer such a venue for the world to see isn't it?

And that's a statement of the parlous state of our world right now that thinks itself so sophisticated especially in this 'communications' sense.

John Osman's avatar

What we think doesn't matter Arthur. If it did there'd be no genocide in Gaza.

arthur brogard's avatar

That's right. What we think doesn't matter. It is an intangible and and an unknown. Until made tangible, known.

Too often it seems to be believed that because what you think doesn't matter than it also means that making it tangible and known also doesn't matter.

And that's baloney.

John Osman's avatar

I think it's healthy to express our opinions, but naive to think the Establishment gives a toss.

arthur brogard's avatar

ritter, et al, do nothing to educate the masses which is what it is, should be, all about.

let me emphasise that: nothing.

If russia supports them it supports a weak initiative.

I will give you what I regard as a totally telling example of them: they all continue to use the expression 'ukraine v russia' war. See? Where we have 10 million ukrainians fighting side by side with the russians. how is this 'ukraine v russia' ?

Because when we say 'ukraine' we mean kiev ukraine, obviously.

But we can't mean 'kiev ukraine' because 'kiev ukraine' (and washington, etc.) insists all prewar ukraine is still ukraine.

So it is semantic madness and a distortion of the truth and effective propaganda for the kiev and washington warmongers.

That's simple fact.

Putin's interview with Tucker was no better. Putin does not appeal to the masses. He is pendantic and precise and even tedious. This is the whole point. The whole Russian pr initiative is like that: It is really only putin, lavrov and zakharov. It lacks a fourth 'leg', a populist leg adept at getting simple truths out there.

You think Lavrov 'meeting the press' (and you say avoid useless msm) does any good?

Simplicius never attempts to reach the masses. He addresses his chosen audience of worshippers - as in fact they all do, never making the faintest effort to reach out further.

Simplicius uses the same semantic propaganda gaffe.

Simplicius has never made a suggestion to you that you be pro-active and do this or do that, say this or say that, right?

I am utterly a nobody but I have done more than all of them in this directions. Without effect, because I have no audience. But in principle. My clumsy, ultra basic, knocked up years ago and never improved, webpage I insist is better informative and 'fight back' and truth spreading public informing than all of them: ukrainehonesty.com

Check for yourself. Find it wanting? Then DO BETTER YOURSELF.

I guess people forget that Russia is the biggest nuclear power and have an updated nuclear doctrine. Keep on pushing and eventually these weapons will be unleashed. Ukraine, the west can never win, cause when they win, they will loose when hell is raining down on them.

GM's avatar

They won't hit the Kremlin for some time, they will be hitting air defense positions all over western Russia in order to prepare the ground for a massive air attack, as well as the MIC facilities that are in range. And large arsenals, such as the one in Toropets and several others that blew up.

CC's avatar

PR hits? Who’d be the intended audience of a hit on the Kremlin, Russians or Westerners? I’d contend that such an attack would be arranged to prop up morale in the West. Russians would go mad with range and demand escalation of Putin.

Likewise, who would be the intended audience of a dramatic Russian attack? Logically, it’d be the Russian public, hence totally unnecessary. And, following the same logic as above, the west would find a renewed unity. The British public are lukewarm about all this except when civilian casualties in Kiev are announced. Why stir a pot that contains stagnating water?

And yet, when these things get discussed here the commenters seem to see it as a matter of “Russia scoring PR hits IN THE WEST”. That’s not how it works. Ukraine is not scoring PR hits with Muscovites. On the contrary.

PR is all for domestic consumption and morale. Absolutely correct.

Wow! Really Name 1 thing the "corporate media" will not or has not spun into complete lies or else they just refuse to print. This idea of Russia "needing" to win some media contest is laughable. Only people who make a living off "talking about corporate media " articles like The Duran constantly whine and moan that Russia doesn't win the media stunts. The Global majority knows and understands the situation, that is all that matters.

occamsrazorback22's avatar

...Russia doesn't win the media stunts. The Global majority knows and understands the situation, that is all that matters.>

The folks who thrive on "media stunts" are those digesting the predictable western lies such as those found in the NYT. Bigly sad.

This from the NYT two days ago (8-30-25):

<<Ukrainian leaders cast Saturday’s missile and drone strikes as further proof that Russia was not interested in peace. Mr. Zelensky claimed on social media that Moscow had “used the time” meant for preparing a proposed bilateral meeting between him and President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia “to organize new massive attacks.”>>

Towards the end especially.

It's as if I have written it.

A lot of people in Russia, including at fairly influential levels, are really, really mad about what is happening and are starting to call leadership out

Good article. Early in the article, it talks about WW3 starting (attacks against Iran), and that Russia is the main target. For Europe - yes, for JDT/US it is China.

GM is completely correct about the need to read Karagonov. After the Ukrainian army melts away into, inevitably, marauding bands of demobbed (sp?) soldiers and the unemployed Russia will face the “pacification” of a country the size of France, and the malign influence and money of the surrounding neighbors will make them wish they had long since started retaliation for crossing red lines. In this pacification thousands of Russians will die and millions of dollars will be spent. As Jack Reacher would say, “Get your retaliation in first!”

Feral Finster's avatar

Insurgency is a young man's game. Ukraine lacks young people. The median age in Yemen is 19. The median age in Ukraine was over 40, and that before the war.

Luis Gómez de Aranda's avatar

Do you think that Karaganov would be allowed to write such things if he would no be coordinating with the Kremlin?

I suspect his job is to signal yo the West the scenario that would exist if Russia would ever be seriously threatened.

I do not subscribe to the USA- free democracy, Russia - complete dictatorship, but I doubt that Moscow or any other State would allow a true dissenting voice in the middle of a war.

Remember how Oswald Mosley was handled in the UK during WW II.

GM's avatar

My reading is that Karaganov is speaking for the military, because the military has to adhere to the doctrine of civilian control and cannot speak openly against civilian leadership.

That book that came out last year was written by him, Trenin and admiral Avakyants. Avakyants was commander of the Pacific Fleet until his retirement in 2023, i.e. not a small time position by any means, and in direct charge of many submarines with a lot of nukes on them, and he was in that position very recently.

So Karaganov is not a "true dissenting voice" because after all the military is behind him, and if the military is behind you, can you really be a "dissenting voice"?

But there is a real conflict between the military and the Kremlin, because the Kremlin is either entirely in the hands of the pro-West oligarchy (plus the very strong Israeli influence that is a taboo topic in Russia) or is balancing between those interests and the patriotic factions for reasons that have never been explained publicly, but anyway, that "balancing" equates to sabotage at this point.

Denis's avatar

As if I had written it too.

"When the Ukrainian cannon fodder finally ends, and that is still a distant perspective, the ranks of mercenaries will be replenished with landsknechts from the poor countries of Eastern and Southern Europe. They are already being recruited and trained at scale. Our indecisiveness, our unwillingness to strongly respond to attacks on our cities and strategic forces, are unambiguously interpreted as weakness, strengthening the adversary’s aggression and sense of impunity. Our caution plays into the hands By hesitating to respond strongly, we appear weak, indulging the enemy and giving him a feeling of impunity. The brutal attack by the U.S. and Israel on Iran removes all political, legal, and moral restrictions on potential preemptive/retaliatory strikes. Moreover, by leaving unpunished this blatant aggression we demonstrate unforgivable weakness and pave the way for global thermonuclear war. of an enemy that wishes to drag us into a lengthy war and eventually exhaust us, dAt present, we risk exhausting ourselves in an endless war in Europe, whose elites desire precisely that. We must quickly stop the approach of a global thermonuclear war. And for that, we must first of all stop Europe―the main force that is objectively and subjectively pushing it.ivide our elites, and undermine popular support for the government.

We are winning tactically, albeit at a considerable cost, but strategically, we could start losing. The enemy crosses one red line after another."

arthur brogard's avatar

The thing about it is that it is a reified account.

It is not unusual in that. Not at all. That is the norm and has been for centuries.

Excuse my pedantry but the notion is new to me, the word is new to me and it could well be that it is new to many readers so perhaps I can explain it without giving offence?

'Reified' means to make something abstract real.

What's happening and has always happened is that the abstraction: this 'nation', that 'nation', 'nations' generally, which are abstractions, notions, ideas, legal constructs somewhat like a 'incorporated company', are assumed to be 'real things'.

With minds of their own. Agency of their own. Thoughts, desires, wishes etc.

History has always worked like this for simplicity and from necessity.

But this was never the real story and never really good and never really true.

And today it is anachronistic, obsolete.

We don't need it. We can do better.

It has this major danger: based on fallacy it predicts unreliably.

It has a second danger: when the actors begin to believe their own propaganda they begin to facilitate actions that accord with it: thus bringing about an apparent verification of the inherently invalid prophesies of the reified narrative.

This is where we are at today.

We have universal wall to wall reification.

We need to turn to an anthropic view.

Anyone would think the Ukrainians could change the direction of the war with these attacks. Russia hasn't even started. There is a vast army just waiting in the wings. If these attacks became a serious threat, the war would escalate, not be won by Ukraine. The US knows this and it is why it is so bothered by these Ukrainian incursions. Its own investments out there have already taken hits. It can see any promise of any future returns from anything evaporating. But worse, it now knows for sure that its own interests are better served through deals with Putin, not placating worthless nutters in already captured european colonies.

At the moment the SMO is progressing as planned and there is no need for step escalations beyond the step escalation that has already occurred. But escalation dominance is real, and a real threat. Putin has made it clear that any real harm to Russia will mean his own hardliners taking over the response. What started out as the well documented objectives of the SMO could end up with precisely the expansion of the RF that the europeans allegedly fear.

Well, they can add another fear to that, a real one not the confected nonsense- one presaged in the recent lukewarm US response to the Russian bombing of Kiev- that the US who did not take kindly to the reckless european trouncing of its peace efforts, will just shrug and say- that was a risk you guys decided to run. That is your problem now, not ours. Now what do you want to buy (assuming we are in a position to sell), no more pretences about who is paying for what.

GM's avatar

>At the moment the SMO is progressing as planned and there is no need for step escalations beyond the step escalation that has already occurred.

NATO is hitting Russia with hundreds of light cruise missiles daily, it also did a large-scale ground invasion, slaughtering thousands of civilians the same way their Nazi grandfathers did, now it is going to start hitting it with heavy cruise and ballistic missiles, and Russia has not fired a single projectile back.

What "step escalation" that there is no need to "overreact" to are people hallucinating about?

How many Nato troops have been killed in Ukraine strikes so far - several hundreds of French, British, US and about 2000 Poles.

Simon Robinson's avatar

Whilst your optimism regarding our defence against 3i Atlas is admirable John, it's size, speed (134,000 mph) and trajectory will make it an impossible target to reach, never mind hit, even with all the Earth's Nukes and technology. From what I've watched about it on yt, mainly the data coming back from James Webb observations. I personally am absolutely awestruck. Is this another example of Science Fiction becoming Science Fact ?

John Thomas's avatar

I was hoping it would slow down, or turn towards us. We will see by October perhaps. The thing is crazy interesting.

When I saw it would 'visit' us the way it has and not come close to earth it is almost proof right there it's intelligent life.

arthur brogard's avatar

i know nothing about this. but don't we have the technology now that we could 'park' something just waiting for such a thing to arrive at that point, on that carefully calculated trajectory, rather than 'intercept' ?

Simon Robinson's avatar

No...even the USS Enterprise with Cap'n Kirk, Mr Spock and Scotty on the job with Di-Lithium crystals fully charged would be totally outmatched. :-)

arthur brogard's avatar

For a known object on a calculated trajectory with ample time, we can place an interceptor on an orbit that will intersect it. A Lagrange point is a logical parking spot. The interceptor waits there with minimal fuel use, then executes a final burn to precisely match the rock's path for interception. It is feasible.

A kinetic impactor—simply a mass moving at high relative velocity—is the preferred method. The hypervelocity collision releases immense energy, often surpassing that of a conventional explosive, to disrupt or deflect the target. No bomb required.

John Galtsky's avatar

GM's avatar

The record is over 500 in a 24-hour period so far.

And it is over 100 most days.

So yes, hundreds of light cruise missiles.

Euphemistically called "drones" in order to trick the public into accepting that as the new reality without too much fuss.

But that does not change the fact that there is no fundamental difference between a OWA drone and a cruise missiles. It is the same thing, and has been since the V-1.

John Osman's avatar

And was it 3 or 4 nukes?

John Galtsky's avatar

I see you don't bother to read your own posts. Can't blame you since most people don't bother to read your posts either.

You wrote "NATO is hitting Russia with hundreds of..." Unless you're a total stooge for US/MI6/Kiev propaganda for morons, you know there's a difference between "hitting" and "claiming to launch stuff."

The reality is that Kiev is *not* - and not remotely - "hitting" Russia with hundreds of anything, be they cruise missiles or drones, daily. First, they don't actually launch that many (although exceptionally weak-minded people might believe propaganda for morons that claims they launched 500 cruise missiles in a day), and second, what they do launch is mostly shot down by Russia.

Russia has by far the best air defense systems in the world. Shooting down subsonic cruise missiles is easy for them. Doh.

Tom Worley's avatar

Yes, I liked this conclusion at first. It seemed that would be The Don's attitude and the circus in Alaska seemed to confirm this. However the aid to Ukraine continues supposedly from Europe instead of America but when did the Euros ever pay for anything they could steal? Intelligence efforts on Ukraine's behalf continues. Starlink service continues. The Don has changed nothing except perceptions.

The US, UK and EU continues the attack against Russia. When the war is over perhaps we will finally know the truth but I wonder? Irregardless I do know one thing, the truth will not be spoken by the Western Empire of Evil. Even the Eastern/Southern Alliance will obfuscate the truth on their own behalf.

I will not believe in Donald John Trump's peace until we entirely cease supplying the Ukrainians and withdraw our troops from Europe leaving them to their chosen fate. Europe supplies nothing we cannot do without, on the contrary they are bloated ticks on our neck sucking the life out of us just as Eastern Europe sucked the life out of the Soviet.

May be because the Russians have a second strike capability that would make very unlikely that any power would risk

nuclear war for money or for any resources.

GM's avatar

The purpose of the second strike is to prevent the first strike, not to retaliate against an already launched first strike. That is better than not launching one -- it will prevent the occupation of your land by the aggressor and your total extermination down to the last man -- but the unacceptable damage of the first strike will have already been incurred.

Thus any developments that make one of the sides think it can launch a disarming first strike are unacceptable. It doesn't even matter if it actually has the capability, what matters is whether it thinks it has it.

Absolutely correct. In fact most of the EU globalist dictatorships will fall if they lose the mythical threat of Russia, and the "Putin" to distract the citizens from the utterly incompetent failing governance.

Countries needing to borrow money from the IMF to function are borrowing money to send to the Ukraine laundromat. Wouldn't cutting unnecessary expenses be first?

Here in the states we are facing a major financial collapse along with loss of the $$ as global medium of trade. But our oligarchs might have a few more months than the Europeans.

Bottom line a loss of any future for our youth and bleakness lies ahead. There is nothing viable being introduced to replace the system we have in place. Except make enemies and try to inflict global damages.

Alan's avatar

The US is the largest funder of the IMF (with 17.42% of the voting power) and can block any loans, because loans need an 85% approval. Apparently the US approves of third Parties purchasing US weapons and sending them to places like Ukraine, so if the Coalition of the Brain Dead cut spending on social programs and increase spending on military equipment, financed by IMF loans, there is a monetary benefit for those who are now in charge of the running the very Long Con on the propagandized masses.

Hans Kloss's avatar

I do not think that is correct. The "West" has been on its knees many times. Sometimes for a longer periods of time and still recovered. The q. is why do I have to pay taxes for the prolonged destruction period while the fat cats get fatter.

In some sense the West has to have a serious crisis. This is just part of life. Replacement of the old elite with a new one etc. is just part of it as is the cutting the weed and the useful plants in your garden. The q. is how do you do it w/o too much destruction. I think we are at the stage where many different policies destroy the foundations of our civilization: green policies, extreme feminism and associated alphabet movement, intellectual decay which is masked by massive surge in high education which on the face of it cannot ber expected to produce the engineers, doctors etc. at consistent high level and usability for the society. There are other factors like high level of debt and possibly an imminent reset event or raising complexity of the vital systems on which we depend which may backfire in times of crisis.

All this has happened before and we recovered. It just looks like we have one big occasion for rebuilding - let us hope it will not involve mass dying off due to use of the nukes etc.

The other angle is this: Covid disappeared from the surface as soon as the war started to ignite again in the east. The war may disappear when a new narrative is prepared and fired on the media.

Kennewick Man's avatar

Setting up large scale missile production facilities inside Ukraine is rather problematic. The whole of the country is saturated with volunteer Russian spies and the 24/7 material deliveries, thousands of employees and outgoing missile shipments will draw their attention surely before large scale production can materialize. Any plan like this would be a juicy, cost-effective target for Oreshniks.

The US offer of 3,350 missiles with 200 miles range after released from a plane would be a real problem for Russia and a milk-cow for America. Trump would probably speed up the manufacturing process in case EU/NATO decides to become a substantial promising financier, participant in the conflict. Indications are they are going this way already.

Victor's avatar

As numerous analysts have stated, there are two main problems with that assertion.

1) these missiles are air-launched which means that they would be putting what is left of their air force in serious danger

2) The 200 mile range of these missiles means that in effect only a max of 100 miles inside Russia as any plane launching them would have to do so from at least 100 miles inside Ukrainian territory to have any chance of not being shot down by Russian air defenses.

Kennewick Man's avatar

You do have a point considering the status of the Ukraine Air Force. Whatever is the leftover would be exposed and risked by going close to the Russian borders.

GM's avatar

>1) these missiles are air-launched which means that they would be putting what is left of their air force in serious danger

They won't be, they will be launching from out of range of Russian AD.

>2) The 200 mile range of these missiles means that in effect only a max of 100 miles inside Russia as any plane launching them would have to do so from at least 100 miles inside Ukrainian territory to have any chance of not being shot down by Russian air defenses.

Well, NATO planes have been flying all the way to the Russian border and dropping JDAMs and AASM Hammers well inside Russia every day for about a year now, so that argument is empiricially debunked.

Because what happened once the grand genius in the Kremlin did not nuke NATO in Europe the moment HIMARS missiles started flying into Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk is that Russian AD positions were pushed back to 100-150 km inside Russian in order to save them from HIMARS attacks. Which provided the necessary breathing space for NATO planes. Because an S-400 can shoot down a plane 400 km away, but that is a plane flying high, not hugging the ground, and under ideal condition. In practice it rarely happens. Meanwhile there are MiG-31s and Su-35s flying high on constant patrols with R-37Ms either, because the grand genius in the Kremlin allowed Patriot batteries to strike planes deep into Russia too, with no reaction to that either.

I think it's adorable how you defend GM.

Dhdh's avatar

He contributes more than you or the other faggott.

HandleIt's avatar

You have any proof of what you say?

Like

"NATO planes have been flying all the way to the Russian border and dropping JDAMs and AASM Hammers well inside Russia every day for about a year now,""

and "Russian AD positions were pushed back to 100-150 km inside Russian in order to save them from HIMARS attacks."

You'd think this would be all over I've never heard it. If true Russia is doomed.

GM's avatar

If you follow primary sources, you know what is happening

If you follow Western cheerleaders whose business model depends on having people who think Russia is winning against the whole of NATO without breaking a sweat come back again and again to generate views and clicks, you live in a parallel reality.

HandleIt's avatar

Like what primary sources? This would be all over telegram and I do follow some there and never heard it.

GM's avatar

The real-time threat alert channels are the most important ones for having a good grasp of what is happening. If you're not following those, yeah, you will have no idea how many jets fly over Sumy to attack Kursk with JDAMs and how many HIMARS strikes there are across the border every day.

Most of the main Russian Telegram channels are exercising massive self-censorship after they had a few in-person sessions with the Kremlin and Strelkov was jailed.

It also helps to look at the Ukrainian channels -- they make a lot of shit up for propaganda purposes, but they also post lots of real Russian Ls that you will not see acknowledged for the aforementioned reason.

Case in point -- there was another raid on radars and AD positions in Crimea the last few days that did a fair bit of damage. How many of the channels you follow reported on that?

Tom Worley's avatar

Subterfuge is as much mother's milk as gin to the British. Systems integration is a term well known amongst weaponeers. The Evil Empire of Washington is handing the Ukrainians the system they need to strike at Moscow or anyplace in the region by combining the Flamingo with the ERAM. We actually know very little about the British Flamingo or their ERAM. Wouldn't the ERAM make a fine warhead? The specifications of the Flamingo are undoubtedly a lie, even the shape and power source could be different, the pictures simple AI fabrications.

Besides, radar to follow terrain is no longer needed when the route and altitude can simply be programmed into the missile's computer.

Take heart. It is not possible for even the greatest of peoples to stand in the spotlight of history forever. I'm seeing the end of my country's time as well. The US dollar is suffering a freefall into worthlessness and the interest on our debt has surpassed the military budget. Soon the US Empire will join the British Empire as a used to be great despite the good works of MAGA. If we survive and look to God it may become apparent that it isn't so bad after all. The spotlight is a stressful place. Peace in the Light of God is better than war in the spotlight of geopolitical events. Empires rise and empires fall but the people and the land remain, the sun always shines again. Thanks for the reply mate.

Honestly we're happier just being a small island in the North Atlantic.

NiggleS's avatar

ERAM is not a warhead. ERAM is an add on kit for a Small Diameter Bomb, think JDAM+small jet engine. You're suggesting some sort of two stage cruise missile i.e a retarded waste of time for all concerned.

Both show up like dogs bollocks on Russian radar, an easy kill for AAD crews.

This is nothing more than a PR stunt, to keep restless Ukrainians thinking they can still win.

Mikey Johnson's avatar

Therefore Denmark set up a factory in….Denmark for Ukrainian production. More will follow or has already. Germany for example and the big fire/explosions in Hamburg.

GM's avatar

>Setting up large scale missile production facilities inside Ukraine is rather problematic

It serves its primary function -- to serve as a fig leaf cover for the use of Western-manufactured missiles -- perfectly well.

Feral Finster's avatar

Those missiles are not really made in Ukraine.

Tom Worley's avatar

Why release them from planes? Why not larger cruise missiles such as The Flamingo whose specifications and actual appearance we probably don't know. Terrain following is easier than it used to be as the terrain map can be programmed in and no radar is needed.

God Bless Us All

GM's avatar

That is exactly what is coming -- FP-5s.

They got a lot of experience doing terrain hugging inside Russia from the thousands of drones they flew all the way to the Urals, now it is time to do it with large warheads.

Jullianne's avatar

Strike the kremlin, seriously, and Kiev goes. And Lviv. For starters. Big rush of refugees west and right at the beginning of winter.

In fact, with energy infrastructure hits within Ukraine, that is a real worry for western leaders right now, without further massive escalation. Another non talking point.

gorgonaut's avatar

Nuking cities just because your capital got hit once by a conventional missile? I dont know about all that. That would risk a full scale nuclear exchange and then you go from having significant gains in Ukraine and probably even more eventually to losing Russia itself. Seems to go against their calculating, emotionless style of warfare. They've already used western missiles with western support to hit military targets in Russia, Ukraine has of course done the same with drones including strategic targets and moscow itself - notwithstanding conspiracy theories about Crucus. Probably as long as if they didnt hit the Kremlin itself with the missile the response wouldn't be that bad

Jullianne's avatar

If you have to take out the key decision making centres in these cities, that is what you do. I did not mean turn these cities into craters. I agree that would just be an emotive response. But if true decapitation strikes are the appropriate way to interrupt serious damage that is what you do.

Russia would not be using nuclear weapons. If the west responded by going nuclear of course, that would be the end. But it won't. Why would it, over Ukraine!!!!. No one cares that much about Ukraine at the end of the day. This war was originally about getting hold of Russian resources. All that is over. If this puts an end to Ukraine as a fighting force there would be a general sigh of relief beyond the asylum of blathering politicos. The west unleashed a monster.

gorgonaut's avatar

You said the cities would be gone not the decision making centers so you can understand my confusion

Jullianne's avatar

My bad. It was a lazy comment. I should have said that there is much to be gained by the sort of attacks that do not directly target civilians (natch) but create the situation emerging in Kiev where the citizenry packs its bags and trudges west. En masse. This is something Western European leaders are dreading. Attacking cities quite rightly focussed on military targets but with the unfortunate collateral of heaving out entire local populations.... is what the west would invite if it attempted anything with such a potential destabilisation in a Russian city.

occamsrazorback22's avatar

"Why would it, over Ukraine!!!!."

Geo Washington warned against "foreign entanglements". The average American cares not a whit if Ukraine or European capitals are erased. Western Europe is a theme park. Ukraine is agricultural land if they can ever get the metal(missile parts) out of the soil. Read Barbara Tuchman's great history of 14th C. Europe and their non-stop wars: "A Distant Mirror" This present dust-up demonstrates that these fools have learned nothing. It is depressing to read-bigly sad.

Luis Gómez de Aranda's avatar

Nothing is for sure, but logically one can suppose:

1.- even if Ukrainians would succeed hitting the Kremlin with a conventional missile, Russia would not nuke Kiev or Lviv.

2.- would the Russians nuke Kiev or Lviv, Western powers would not nuke any Russian city. For them Kiev gone is less consequential than

Lynn, Frankfurt or Boston destroyed.

GM's avatar

>Nuking cities just because your capital got hit once by a conventional missile?

Yes, of course, because if you don't nuke cities in response, then there will be more missiles and some day they will not be convential either.

But you don't hit Kiev and Lvov, those cities belong to Russia. You hit the source of the problem.

ikester8's avatar

Lvov is too far gone. Russia would give it to Poland rather than try to govern it.

Tom Worley's avatar

Even Google has no idea who or what Crucus is.

GM's avatar

>Strike the kremlin, seriously, and Kiev goes. And Lviv.

1) Just as Kiev and Lvov went when the Russian strategic aviation was hit? And that was much more significant than a hit on the Kremlin. The surface Kremlin buildings are of purely ceremonial importance, the strategic aviation is of real importance.

2) Nobody who matters cares about Kiev or Lvov

3) Kiev is the third or fourth most important Russian city, no Russian leader in this right mind would destroy it.

You go after the West in response. If you have the balls and are not compromised by loyalties to something else other than Russia, of course, neither of which is the case with the traitors and cowards in the Kremlin right now.

dacoelec's avatar

Did the Kremlin pee in your Post Toasties again? Goodness gracious! We are going to have to nuke them for sure!

Everybody matters. We are all centers of our universe, we are all part of the Living Mind of the Infinite Universe. Real not magic. Our God is a physical being of energy and force. We are the matter which constitutes His body and organic brain. We belong to Him, all we own is free will. He did not give it to us, we grow it on our own. If we are born in His image then is He not like us?

We all matter, even the poorest most helpless individual starving to death in war-torn Europe and the USA in the near future if present events continue on their course. Thank you Jullianne, beautifully perceptive and foresighted. However the Western Empire might want Poland and Hungary to be inundated with migrants as Orban is proving uncooperative? Do you really believe the EU loves their Eastern acquisitions? Poland had to make a big fuss about not being paid the funds due for their previous admittance of Middle Eastern refugees.

I'm firmly convinced that the elitist masters of all the major Western powers have little regard for life and limb as long as they aren't their own. The Muslims in Europe face a future much like the Jews did during their own diaspora into Europe after Rome destroyed The Temple of Solomon. Once the imperial purpose of controlling their slave/citizens is achieved the Muslim outsiders will no longer be needed to keep the unhappy unemployed peaceful citizens grateful for a crust of bread from the tables of their owners. The people of Europe will now do as they are told. Just as it is in the USA under the crushing weight of cradle to the grave socialism, National Socialism. We support a nazi government in Ukraine: why?

Remember, the model for all modern Western governments is derived from the USA constitution which was modeled from the example of Rome, the republic/empire of slavery. The checks and balances of US constitutional government have been completely short-circuited by party politics just as George Washington warned would happen. The danger was not in their rivalry but in their cooperation to unite and subdue the people for their own purposes. Nazism is nothing new, it's been around for eons. It's absolute monarchy. Luckily our rulers are presently mortal though I'm sure they would like to be immortal gods.

Our masters are not hidden and controlling from the shadows they are out in the open, in the dictatorships of Rome renamed President or Premier when in fact it is Empress or Emperor. How many executive orders does Emperor Trump need to issue? So far he is at least superior to Emperor Biden who modeled his national socialism on Ernst Rohm's example instead of Hitler's. I'm glad Don recovered his stolen throne from the Progressives. Biden was the worst president in US history, The Don has that right anyway.

At least Hitlerian nazism creates national strength instead of weakness and decadence. The moronic Ernst Rohm style Nazism or Malthusian Progressive Humanism would lead us into mob rule or Athenian Democracy which was exactly the model for Rome's patrician republic. Both were slave states controlled by their aristocrats and elitists who used the mobs as they pleased. Just as our governments do today.

The USA became nazi long before the term was even invented, when our first emperor,Abraham Lincoln, was assassinated by the supposedly defeated Confederacy before he could shepherd the new empire in the correct course. Just like Julius Caesar. The Confederacy allied with corrupt Republicans and a welcoming new Democratic President to take control and the coalition has ruled US ever since 1865. The Empire of Washington then began its murderous, treacherous course starting with the hapless Red Indians of America. Now it rules an empire larger than any other in history. Far greater than the one on which it was modeled: Republic/Imperial Rome. The Washington Empire includes the UK with its Commonwealth, the EU, South Korea, Japan, the Philippines with several odds and ends around the world. It's called the 'free world'.

South America is presently being taken away as the Imperial leadership's level of intelligence has fallen greatly since it took cradle to the grave socialism to its bosom under the vile Franklin Delano Roosevelt. This current tendency towards "Cosmic Cretinism" (Dmitry Medvedev) accelerated with the adoption of identity politics under Lyndon Baines Johnson and the 1964 Civil Rights Bill which was no such thing. It solidified the inferiority of the descendents of the Confederacy's African slaves into law. In order to assist the inferior Africans who need help, Identity trumps intelligence or merit. The African slaves and the other minorities now love to obey their masters as the new carpetbaggers. I call the intelligent and moral descendents of the slaves American Africans instead of African Americans. Jesse Jackson got that one right. Martin Luther King was assassinated for a reason you know. Too smart by far. Anglos and Afros is far superior nomenclature to whites and blacks which has connotations of evil and good.

Could anyone imagine such fiends as our multitudinous Imperial Masters or Mistresses, our Dominus's and Dominas, would truly give a damn about poverty stricken refugees? If necessary instead of five-star hotel accommodations the Ukrainian refugees will be supplied tarpaulins, bags of beans, corn and ascorbic acid. The best of them will find employment in order to help keep the present populations in their place: enslaved. The signs are everywhere, OTAN is the reverse of NATO, add a W to the mix and know the god they worship is WOTAN, Heinrich Himmler's god of choice. Pagan b....... Heil Hitler is the true greeting on the lips of our masters. They adore Zelensky, they are in love.

There was a reported increase in western AWACS/surveillance flights in the Crimean direction last week. I don't know how reliable/relevant these reports are but could indicate a preparation for something and doesn't seem completely unrelated to these recent missile announcements.

Mikey Johnson's avatar

Good report Simplicius!

Although I dont recommend underestimating what is going on. The more deep attacks from Ukraine into Russia the more escalations we will see. When EU/NATO now setting up factorys in European countries the War will move into a grey zone. We already had explosions/sabotage inside western countries. Here is a statement from X:rs: https://x.com/ArmchairW/status/1962316439605350677 claiming that FSB/GRU are using drones for surveillance in Europe. He also wonder why Russia hasnt responded on the drone attack in St Petersburg emanating from Estonian territory. I think more will follow from all directions. All those attacks are meant to test Russia and stretch the lines further.

Soon we will be accustomed to sudden explosions all over western Europe and everyone is pretending it is not a War going on. The western elite is boiling their own frogs slowly and one day they will declare martial law because of Russias hybrid and asymetrical War against the Free West. And people around me will ask what happened: the War was in Ukraine not here!?
