However, you do go off the rails by linking moral impetus in any way to BRICS.
BRICS is a mix of moral, immoral, and amoral entities, in other words, humanity. That's OK because BRICS is not about any sort of morality agenda and it's not a dorm room chat session. It's a purely mechanical group organized to provide better mechanics and connections for trade and development.
It's like international organizations put together to gain agreement on standards for marking ship channels and the like. The agreements about which side of the channel are marked by red buoys and which are marked by green buoys aren't about morality, like whether the vessel that uses the ship channel is carrying weapons for the evil or food aid for the starving. They're about the practical details of not running around regardless of what the vessel is carrying.
That's an example of a common interest where countries can get together to agree on useful practical measures without fucking everything up by insisting on their ideologies over all others.
What sets BRICS apart is the common pragmaticism of the countries involved. They're all up for implementing practical measures of common interest without fucking things up by introducing ideological warfare.

The thing is, people need to cognitively frame things into a view that is understandable and can align with their deepest held beliefs. The view that there is a global controlling class powerful enough to call the shots at the highest echelons of the worlds superpowers seems plausible. The problem though is that history and even personal experience don't support the theory. Have you ever been on a not-for-profit board, or a strata title committee or a corporate management team made up of peers? I have and it usually ends up pretty tricky going. Have you built a team for a startup? It isn't easy, people are complicated. Look at any revolution in history. Once the revolutionaries succeed then the real fighting starts to see who can take control. I'm not saying there isn't a global controlling class, there is, but they seem to be losing control by the day. There is a lot of competition in that area and we see this playing out more and more. That's why they hate the Iranians. They play by completely different rules. Their banks have no usury, their legal system has no lawyers, their leader is religious. That is almost impossible for a Westerner to comprehend. The Chinese less so because they want to change the system from within. But if you look closely their system is very, very different. The Russians less so but they understand that the Crusade against their Orthodoxy still continues today. If even an inkling of compromised leadership was evident their would be a quick coup in any of these counties. All of them have broad ranges of institutions with varying levers of political control.
I watched Jiang way before he suddenly popped into alternative mainstream. And I vividly remember how in one video he went into details of Russia inner works and it was clear as day that he have no clue. Like, absolutely wrong on basic things, every Russian will know. He is essentially Zeihan clone - very assertive, very wrong.
